I have wanted an indoor brick oven style pizza maker for years. I almost didn’t buy this one after reading some of the negative reviews but thank goodness I didn’t. This is by far one of the best purchases I’ve made for my kitchen. I realized why some people might have been discouraged, it’s all boils down to the pizza dough. I made mine using 00 pizza flour and used a French rolling pin to flatten the dough really thin making sure to keep it from sticking by sprinkling the dough with the flour. Every pizza I made turned out 🤩 perfect. The oven takes a bit to warm up to 700f but it also has a loud beep to let you know when it’s done preheating. The oven light is a great feature so you can watch your pizza cook.
We’ve been looking for a pizza oven for a while and wanted one we could use indoors. Looking at the more expensive options vs the Cuisinart, I thought the reviews for this fit our needs as a good starting option since we’re not running a pizzeria… it’s amazing! We’ve only had it about a week but have made pizza 3 times. My husband makes pizza frequently so we have a great dough recipe and he makes his own sauce… so that helps. But having the high heat is a game changer. Agree with others – flour the peel like crazy. You will not be disappointed. Maybe now we will open a pizzeria.
