April is World Autism Month!
All month long, Chuck E. Cheese is teaming up with Autism Speaks to support children, adults, and families in the autism onlinemunity.
According to a recent Facebook post, Chuck E. Cheese will host a nationwide Sensory Sensitive Sundays event on Sunday, April 27TH from 9–11am across the U.S. and Canada–with 20% of sales from the entire day going to Autism Speaks.
What are Sensory Sensitive Sundays at Chuck E. Cheese?
Chuck E. Cheese hosts Sensory Sensitive Sundays at participating locations on the first Sunday of every month, with the next regularly scheduled event on Sunday, May 4th. This program creates a quieter dining and arcade experience for kids with autism and other sensory needs.
On Sensory Sensitive Sundays, Chuck E. Cheese opens two hours early with dimmer lights and lower volume for children who prefer a calmer environment. A specially trained staff works to ensure that every guest has a safe, fun-filled visit.
