Add all ingredients to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 90 seconds. Enjoy!

I tried this popular melted cottage cheese bowl trend last year and loved it. Making them for myself as quick 90-second microwave meals has been helpful to me for meeting my protein goals daily. Half a cup of cottage cheese has 14 grams of protein!

Boosting protein has many health benefits including building and preserving muscle, and making you feel full longer.

Tip: Whip up your cottage cheese first for a creamy texture!

Many don’t love the texture of cottage cheese, but this can easily be fixed! If the lumpy texture and visible curds are a turn off this can easily be addressed. Whip up your cottage cheese in a blender or use an immersion blender like I do.

This bowl has similar flavors to a slice of pizza, and is so delicious. You can swap out the veggies and meat for pizza toppings you’d prefer. I love the pepperoni and bell pepper onlinebo. Add crushed red pepper flakes at the end to make it a little spicy!

You could use mini bell peppers or pita chips as a crunchy dipper on this bowl. YUM!

2. Cottage Cheese Taco Bowl

I purposely prep ahead extra ground taco meat for the week so I can make these Mexican cottage cheese bowls during the week. This is creamy, flavorful and satisfying. I love eating it with Quest protein chips! The crunch and taco flavor is delicious.

3. Buffalo Chicken Cottage Cheese Bowl

This bowl starts by air-frying frozen breaded chicken nuggets. Then, you can melt in the cottage cheese, shredded cheese, buffalo sauce, and chopped celery. If spicy isn’t your thing, substitute in your favorite BBQ sauce or marinara sauce for a chicken parmesan-style bowl.

  • I enjoy cooking these in the microwave for convenience. if you prefer the oven try melting them for about 10-15 minutes at 375 degrees.

    I actually love cottage cheese. When whipped, it’s a good ricotta replacement for any Italian dish, especially lasagna! And when eggs are included with whip, you can use it as batter to make a high-protein wrap.
