Another GREAT idea for an adult hot chocolate would be what my family calls a “Snuggly.” All you do is make regular hot chocolate (even from the packets) and then once made you add (you decide the amount) Peppermint Schnapps. And ENJOY! It is sooooooo good. It makes you feel warm and snuggly hence the name.

You can make an awesome Nutella hot chocolate w/o adding any sweetener or cocoa powder. I make it all the time and it has only 2 ingredients: Nutella and whole milk! I just whisk the two together really well in a saucepan and put it on low heat until it’s nice and hot. Super simple and delicious!

When I was a kid, my grandmother would drop a butterscotch candy into a mug of hot chocolate and it would melt in there as it cooled down enough for me to drink it. As an adult, I get the same flavor by adding a little butterscotch schnapps to my mug of hot chocolate 😉
