        Hi Terry! Mine does lay flat, and I actually upgraded to the five name, to include my husband! I’ve noticed that with an additional name, it sometimes lays off center, but I never had an issue with the 4 name necklace. I hope you’ll enjoy yours if you decide to order one! I never take mine off, and still adore it! 💕

        I have a 18″ 4 name and it lays flat. Sometimes the names get twisted or off center but not a whole lot. I nearly never take mine off and it still looks as good as the day it arrived. If I can cautiously and tactfully give some advice from the experience I’ve had…if you plan to keep your necklace on all the time like I do I reonlinemend going with a chain that is less than 18″ because the necklace often gets hung up on my chin during *ahem* grown up bedroom activities. Wish I would have known this before ordering.

    I got mine last October I also wear it all the time. I haven’t taken it off and it looks just like it did on day one. I have my grown sons as well as my husbands name on mine.
    A.B. Look for someone in your town who makes jewelry they can fix yours in just a couple of minutes. I fix stuff for people all the time.

      If you look at the reviews on Etsy, clients uploaded their pics. There is at least one with two names but she double layered it with a 3 name necklace. It looks really nice.

      I have it with 2 – I sent a message as bad asked her to put a heart in between the 2 names, which she did for a minimal cost. Not only does it look “balanced”, but LOVE the symbolism!
      Had it over 3 1/2 yrs and never take it off!

        I have six kids also and had to get two necklaces. Trying to find a jeweler in my town to put them together someway. The max they do per necklace is 4names. So I put three names on each necklace.

        I Love these! I had two granddaughters so I ordered the 2 name one. Shortly after another pregnancy was announced so I ordered a new one with three names. All was good for a bit until both my daughter in law and daughter announced they were both expecting! After finding out there is no way to inexpensively add a new name, I decided to order a second necklace with the two additional names. It stacks perfectly! Looks terrific! I like the look of the two necklaces. You could do three on each necklace for your six! 😊

    I’ve had mine since for two years and wore it 24/7 until recently. A link broke in March and I was able to get it repaired at our local jeweler. Now this November it has broken again and this time they can’t fix it. 🙁 But I do LOVE this necklace! I have two kids and had a heart put in between. It makes me happy knowing my kids names are close to my heart, especially when they are away.

    my first one is about 4 years old with 4 names of my kids on it, I never take it off. my second one with my two grand kids names on it and it is about 2 years old..never take it off they look as good as the day i got them and sometimes the two necklaces get a bit tangled but this is a really great product!
    I got one for my daughter but while on a cruise, it got tarnished by the pool water. I will have her try the aluminum foil trick to see if this will do the trick and get it back into looking great again!

    I bought this years ago when y’all first posted about them. I wish I had gotten the silver instead of the gold tone. The gold partially wore off almost right away so it’s now part gold and part silver. I still wear it and get tons of onlinepliments on it. It is constructed very well other than the gold coating.
