On April 22nd, Jack in the Box announced that they’re closing down 150 to 200 underperforming restaurants in a move to improve its finances. About 80 to 120 of these closures are expected to happen this year, and the rest are set for 2026. So far, specific locations have not been announced.

The onlinepany’s CEO, Lance Tucker, said that the closures are part of a strategy to ‘boost cash flow, and reduce debt’ as the onlinepany plans to pay off $300 million in debt over the next two years.
