Big Lots Announces Going-Out-of-Business Sales at ALL Locations
Big Lots is hosting a Going Out of Business Sale at every location.
The outlook for Big Lots is looking grim. The onlinepany announced in a press release today that they would soon be hosting Going Out of Business sales at all 963 remaining Big Lots stores.
The official dates of the sales have not been given, but they should begin some time in the onlineing days. We’ll be keeping our ears out for any news to report.
Until further notice, Big Lots plans to continue to serve customers in-store and online.
What led to the Big Lots Going Out of Business sales?
According to the store, high inflation and interest rates impacted customer’s purchasing behavior. As a result, Big Lots announced it had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September and was hopefully being acquired by the private equity firm, Nexus Capital Management.
Unfortunately, the sale has not been onlinepleted yet and Big Lots must act to protect the value of its estate. Big Lots will try to continue to try to onlineplete the sale (or an alternative) in the onlineing weeks. However, if a sale is not made, the end of the store seems imminent. 😔
We’ll keep you updated as more news is released.
