Such a cool little thing, I’m so glad I bought it. I have other “normal” smoke detectors in my residence but I don’t have a smart one and having two dogs, this really gave me the peace of mind I was after.

You just download the app, easily set up an account, then it will search for and add the detector seamlessly. After mounting it to the wall, which honestly is a piece of cake, you can give it a test from the app and check its status. The app will let you test the alarm, check the battery life, check the signal strength between it and your router, etc.

You can add a friend or neighbor to your account so if the alarm does go off and isn’t silenced in a certain amount of time it will send a notification to that person. Obviously, it will still alert you too if the alarm goes off.
