   Having worked at Target – they are very good at keeping track what sells in their stores. So for those, saying nothing left, that is because Target did not put extra merchandise out at your store that would not sell before they would have clearance it. Generally, a new Target store will have much more merchandise than one that is over five years old, after that they limit merchandise.

   High traffic Target in California:
   – 12/25 – closed
   – 12/26 – clearance 30% off
   – 12/29 – 50% off
   – 12/31 or 1/1 – 70% off
   – 1/2 – all Christmas items pulled off the shelves. I’m sure they were pulled because there were still 2 aisles (of mostly candy) under 70% clearance on 1/1 evening, shortly before close. Rain was pouring today & parking lot was only half full. Guest Services told me Corporate has instructed them to discard any returned Christmas merchandise at this point.

   This Target operates on a similar clearance schedule for Valentine’s, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. I’ve never seen “seasonal” items left on clearance for over a week past the expired holiday.

  Thank you they most have changed it normally 12/31 75% and 1/1 90% but I am in the DMV(District of Columbia) so sales may vary depending on location

   I just left my store. Candy/food items were 30% off but everything else was already 70% off. Got wrapping paper for 90 cents!

   Our store had signs for 5O% but non food was 70% off! I’m hoping Food goes to 50% tomorrow!

   hear the 70 off markdown has happened! Is this at select stores or all? Thanks for posting and hopefully everyone finds some awesome deals! I will be setting my alarm ⏰ to get up early tomorrow when store opens! I don’t think my stores will make it to 90 off as in years past.
