Can you clip the coupon and just use it in store rather than selecting the pick-up option?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Lisa! Yes, you can do that too! Once the coupon is clipped to your Walgreens account, and you enter your phone number at checkout in-store, the coupon will be deducted. ❤️

      • Claudio Nuñez

No, that is not correct. I tried this yesterday and it didn’t work.

The thing is, at the store, the Kinder Bueno is $1.69 a piece. The coupon is for $1.99. Three Walgreens employees had to look into this and they finally called the store manager. This was the only cash register opened so I was holding up the line while they looked into this issue.

The manager came in and explained that unfortunately, when the item is cheaper than the amount in the coupon, it will not be accepted by the system.

So, I wasted 15 minutes of my day, I angered a few customers behind me, just to try to save $1.99 and in the end, I had to leave the store empty-handed.

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the trouble, Claudio! Walgreens pricing can vary between in-store and online as well as by location, and you’re right—coupons may adjust down online but not always in-store. I know how frustrating that must have been, especially with the wait at checkout. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us and share what the price as at your store! 💕 I’ll add a note to the post on this!
