Perfect for my 3-year-old! The sides are wood, the rods are metal, and the pockets are plastic-like. I have 24 books in the shelf and I could have put more. Very easy assembly. 10 screws and all you need is a screwdriver. Took me less than 10 minutes to put it together. Not very large, but it’s good for putting your kid’s favorite books in!
It’s very cute and holds a pretty good amount of books. There are about 28 books in mine with room for a few more! Now my son can reach and pick which ones he wants.
