Honest thoughts on the Amazon Haul mobile store.

Truthfully, the Amazon Haul discount store is still in the beta stages and we haven’t personally ordered from here.

Where Amazon Haul shines is the stackable discounts that offer you rock-bottom prices. If you don’t see a HUGE discount at first, click on the actual product listing where you will see all the eligible offers.

The products don’t have a ton of reviews yet, but so far the ones that do are not dismal. That being said, we don’t expect the highest quality materials (think Shein or Temu quality).

At this time, Amazon Haul seems to be best for those looking for convenient delivery and cute, quick-use items like cheap seasonal decor, wrapping paper, gift baskets, goodie bags, seasonal table runners, and temporary pillow covers.

Below is a quick look at the pros and cons.

Pros:

  • Huge discounts that are stackable
  • Free shipping on orders of $25 or more
  • Amazon A to Z guarantee
  • Great for buying cute, but cheap, seasonal items or gift-wrapping supplies
  • Offers a chance to try trendy looks without spending top-dollar
  • Consumers can enjoy a familiar platform via Amazon
  • 15-day return window – *Note that this varies by item.

Cons:

  • Not many product reviews yet
  • Apparel may not be true to US sizes
  • Materials may not be the best quality
  • Amazon Haul is only available on the Amazon Shopping app or on the mobile website
  • 2-week delivery period

If you’re looking for an alternative to Shein and Temu, check out the Amazon Haul store. You’ll find similar products, and though you have to wait 2 weeks for delivery, that’s faster than many of the other popular discount sites!

I have tried haul. It is great if you don’t need your things right away. Great prices.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for letting us know what you’ve thought of it so far, Jodi! Appreciate the feedback on the slower delivery too!

  2. Gina

I placed an order about several weeks ago. After two weeks, it had gotten to Bensenville, IL and disappeared. I had to ask for a refund, which Amazon did.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no, Gina! πŸ˜” So sorry to hear your order went missing like thatβ€”how frustrating! Glad Amazon was able to issue you a refund, but I know it’s still such a hassle to wait that long and not receive your item. Hoping your next order arrives without any trouble! πŸ’•

  3. Michelle

This is basically Amazon’s answer to Temu. You’ll be paying so little because it’s probably from China made by very poorly treated workers.πŸ˜”

    • Anne

Agree. This stuff looks like cheap overstock and junk.

    • Tyhub

Reviews were not so great either.

    • zac lee

      100%

    • MHaD3

Agree! I can’t believe Amazon is supporting it.

  4. Aunt Jenny

I’ve placed three orders. The women’s tops I bought were true to size but the material was so thin felt cheap. They also did not have tags on them.

Kitchen silicone gadgets were great. I purchased a small crystal angel for $2 it was beautiful and I found it for sale on Amazon for $20. Bought a nail care set and the emory boards were terrible they chewed up my nails leaving them ruff. Ordered small bathroom acrylic cups with lids and the $1 price was too much. Amazon did refund me for the clothing and I didn’t not have to return them so I donated them. I will not be placing any more orders on Haul even at 60% off it’s not worth it.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Thank you for the honest review and for taking the time to list what you thought of each of the items you’ve purchased. ❀️

  5. Kristin

I just got my first Amazon haul order yesterday. I’m overall pretty happy with what I got. I ended up with a cute hoodie, an olive oil dispenser/sprayer, 2 air tag holders, set of Swedish dishcloths, a travel phone mount, set of belts, and a couple other things, all for $40! Shipping took around 2 weeks

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

That sounds like an awesome haul, Kristin! Thanks for sharing your experienceβ€”hope you enjoy all your goodies! 😊🩷

  6. Molly Kaye

I’ve shopped Temu and Shein before and Amazon Haul is definitely along those lines. I do feel the quality was a bit better with Amazon Haul on most items, but the shipping time was about the same. If you’re a Shein shopper, definitely check Amazon Haul out!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing, Molly! πŸ’• Great to know Amazon Haul felt like a step up in quality! πŸ™Œ

  7. Florinda

Ohhh I’m in trouble! Lots of inexpensive, super cute items that rival Temu ( I got hacked after using the Temu app😣) and Shein. Many similar items, but backed by Amazon. The $10 off $25 coupon was a huge help to the budget!!
I got a car trashcan, really cute star shaped scrub-daddy type sponges, a ton of microfiber cloths that are used in the classroom, and some super cute tiny glass measuring cups with handles.
    I’m hooked!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Sounds like you scored some awesome finds, Florinda! 🀩 Bummer to hear about the account troubles with the Temu app. Super happy that coupon helped stretch your dollar further! πŸ™ŒπŸ’• I need to check it out soon!

  8. Pianomumak

I am surprised you are all promoting Amazon Haul. Cheap prices poor advertising, quality, and shipping.

  9. Les

I ordered last time this was posted and I have no onlineplaints about what I received but I didn’t order any clothing items.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Glad to hear you had a good experience, Les! πŸ™Œ Appreciate you sharing! πŸ’ž

  10. Holly

I have place one order and honestly I was very happy with the quality! Ordered a bunch of baseball shirts to wear to my sons game and loved them all! I ordered a few lunch containers and have used them multiple times and washed in the dishwasher and have held up great. I ordered girls hair assessories and they look similar to other items I’ve purchased from main stores at a higher price. I order a tongs set and a spatula set and those were my favorite. I don’t know if I just ended up lucky with the items I picked but I will definitely order again. Hope that you all end up in luck if you order.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Love that everything your ordered worked out so well for you, Holly! πŸ™Œ Thanks for sharing your haul, and hope your next order is just as great! πŸ’•

  11. Tammy

One thing is a lot of the stuff onlinees from temu which i order from temu. But I’d rather order straight from temu than order on Amazon. Ar least going through temu I get their guarantee.

  12. Ms Mac

Are finding deals on needed items awesome – YES! (which is why I love Hip2Save). Is buying excess/unnecessary/fast fashion awesome when its price is based on the mistreatment of others – NOPE! Shein, Temu (and I’m guessing Amazon Haul) are all inexpensive because the workers are treated terribly, paid nothing and exposed to dangerous working conditions. Check out “True Cost of Fashion” and educate yourself on what you are promoting by purchasing from these onlinepanies. (ok enough of my soapbox – I do love Hip2Save but I also love humanity)

  13. Rosa

I ordered a variety of things. Including a batch of small plastic bags for taking meds on the go, a shirt for me a plus size gal, water shoes for my pool therapy, a code book, a runner and placemats for Valentine’s Day and other assorted items I needed for a great price. I was surprised at the quality and yes indeed the shirt fit and was nice quality for summer. Definitely would order again!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Great finds, Rosa! πŸ™Œ Love that you got a mix of everyday essentials and fun seasonal piecesβ€”all at a great price! And yay for the shirt being a perfect fit! πŸ’• Thanks for sharing your haul! 😊

I ask anyone who thinks of shopping with Temu/Amazon or other low quality/low price sources of clothes and other goods from China to think how those prices are so low and if you want to continue to support their inhumane treatment of workers just for some cheap items that are basically throw away quality goods. For years, China has had concentration camps for religious groups and others that are forced to make much of these cheap goods that we Americans hungrily purchase. Please do not buy from these sources. If interested in learning about, here is a link https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xinjiang_internment_camps. If want to read about from other sources such as the BBC, NBC, or many others, just look up. While I thank Hip2Save for finding us deals (I have been a follower from the beginning), I ask for consideration of the ever increasingly promoted discounted clothes from Amazon and where and how they are being made. While I love a good deal and fashionable clothes, I prefer paying more to not fund horrible treatment of the people making them. I also want to make clear, I am not talking about every item sold on Amazon.

    • Gigi

Thanks for pointing this out beaglemom46. How much of this disposable, poor quality stuff do we really need? Think about how it is affecting not only the poorly treated people making it but the environment too.
