Coppertone Has Recalled Five Varieties of Aerosol Sunscreen Due to Presence of Cancer-Causing Agents
Check your stash of sunscreen ASAP…
Just a head’s up! Coppertone is voluntarily recalling specific lots of five of their aerosol sunscreen spray products because they have identified the presence of the known carcinogen, benzene, which could potentially cause cancer.
If you are in possession of these products, Coppertone suggests that you stop using them immediately and throw them away.
You can request a refund for your products by heading here and filling out a mail-in form (no receipt is needed). Just mail it to the address provided at the top of the form. Beginning October 6th, you will also be able to submit your refund request online here.
