This Happy Friday reader knows how to score some cheap fast food! 🍔

It’s no secret that the cost of food – even fast food – has gone way up recently. Families across America are doing their best to find ways to save on meals.

Luckily, this week’s Happy Friday reader, Lisa, has a food deal to share! She feeds her three kiddos at Burger King for just $8.05.

Here’s how Lisa does it!

“We have three kids and lately eating out or even grabbing fast food is not an option we can do often. However, I don’t want them to feel like they are missing out, so I figured I just had to be crafty when I ordered out.

So, I have the Burger King app on my phone and I always go to their offers page and I typically choose the offer for get any size fries for free with any purchase.I typically grab a large fry and a plain burger and that totals about $2.06. Then, I save the coupons that have been mailed to my home and use the coupon that is two junior whoppers and two medium fries for $5.99.”

“I usually stock up at my grocery store when they run a sale in a package of bacon for $2.99.”

“Before I grab the fast food, I put a couple slices of bacon in a zip lock bag and I add that on their burgers, because Burger King will charge 50 cents additional on each item to add bacon!”

“And we try to avoid soda, so I bring a water bottle for each of them from home. So, for three kids each getting a burger and fries, I can justify spending the $8.05 every once in a while. And the kids enjoy it and appreciate that we can sweeten some deals with just adding some stuff from home and using coupons!”
