Highlights and National Geographics is cheaper on Groupon. I got one for 20.00 and the other for 12.00

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks, I added that!

  2. Michelle

National Geographic for kids is less directly through National Geographic and both are less through Groupon

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks!

Can anyone share their experience with buying magazine subs from Groupon? Blue dolphin is listed as the processor. Never heard of them and they have a D rating from the BBB. Thanks in advance ☺

I haven’t loved Groupon – they have great deals, but customer service can be lackluster if things don’t go well. You can also just go directly through Blue Dolphin. Some also have pretty similar pricing on Amazon.

High Five is a great magazine for the preschool set. There are stories, poems, silly pictures, activity games and even crafts and recipes in some issues. We have been enjoying it for years!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

They sound like a lot of fun for a kid! Thanks for sharing what they have in them, rebeccamartell!

  5. Brittany

Just a head’s up! Don’t forget if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription, you get several of these magazines included (Nat’l Geo Kids, Highlights High Five, etc). I think some are also included in in the Free Time subscription.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m loving that you shared this with us! Thank you, Brittany!

  6. Amy F;)

My little girl is loving the $2 3-4 mo. subscription to high Five that I got for her on bluedolphin. It is her favorite thing to “read” right now and the issues that we received get read and re-read…and re-read;) I’ve used bluedolphin off and on over the years and NEVER had any problem with it. If I don’t want to be re-billed, I make a note on my calendar to log in and cancel a subscription before it onlinees up for renewal. New subscriptions take what seems like a long time to start, but that’s normal for this industry.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Awwww, what a sweet little gal! I remember when mine was little (she’s 26 now) and would do that. We have the best memories! Thanks, Amy F;)
