Now Candy Land contains actual candy, thanks to Target! 😱

If you ever played Candy Land as a kid and wished that all that candy in the game could be real, today you are one step closer to living your childhood dream. For a limited time, Target is selling edible versions of classic games for $9.99, and they are made with real chocolate pieces!

Our store had milk chocolate editions of Candy Land, Monopoly, Scrabble, and Uno, all from a onlinepany called Games for Motion.

Candy Landy milk chocolate edition

This tasty take on the classic Candy Land game onlinees with 32 milk chocolate pieces that are wrapped to look like cards from the original board game. Best of all, the first player to reach King Kandy’s Castle wins a big chocolate prize! Each game in this series onlinees with chocolate game pieces and a chocolate “trophy,” similar to what we found inside the Candy Land game.

You won’t find these edible games in Target’s grocery or toy department, though. We spotted them with the holiday items, which is a good indication that they are likely seasonal finds that will only be around for a limited time. So if you want to eat your way through your family’s next game night, grab one of these fun board games while you can!

Does anyone know if you can still play the games after you eat the candy?

I don’t think u can. We got one of these in the past and I think it’s a one and done type of thing. But for our candy land lovin’ kids it was a good change to get the “prize”

We bought candy land a few years ago and you can still play after you eat the chocolate! The cards for the game are printed on the candy wrappers. Just be careful pulling them off and you can save them to play again later.

    How neat!

My kids gave me the Monopoly one a couple of years ago; very cute, but the chocolate – not the best tasting. Kids might not mind as much though! I am a chocolate lover, so kind of picky haha.

I figured it would be about the quality of those chocolate coins you see around Christmas. Lol. S

Are any of them cruelty-free? That would be awesome!
