   My Target app had been acting weird–crashing and rebooting, not letting me do anything, even pulling up my bar code. Restarted my phone, which didn’t help. Then I deleted the app, and now I can’t download it. I keep getting a server timeout error. Grrr. Fortunately, I can still access Cartwheel via laptop and print my barcode.

   Moral of the story, for those who are discouraged because they don’t have a smartphone, you don’t *need* a phone to do Cartwheel deals.

   My atarget has the Ball Park franks on clearance. Cartwheel worked so I got them for $1.38.

   I found out on receipt after checking out that Cartwheel (CW) for hot dog won’t scan because of different in ounces. CW shows 14 oz but my store has only 15 oz. Customer service gave me the money for the difference. I see from Deb that hers were on clearance. I guess some Target stores still have old ones that are 14 oz. So better check your receipt. My store sells new ones for $4.19 each.
