  1. Amy

    Thanks for the deals Collin!

Also, my CVS ad in WV has Aussie & Herbal Essences shampoo, conditioner & stylers for $2.97 each with $1 ECB back, so after $3/2 coupon they’re $.97 ea. The ad says limit 1 per household so you’ll only get the ECBs for one, but it’s still a great deal!

    • Eileen

Yesterday I received a coupon for a free Herbal Essences product in the mail so if you signed up for the coupon look out for that. It will be an even better deal 😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wow! Great deal! Looks like this is a regional deal (so everyone be sure to check your local ad…).

      • Kitty

I got that in the mail today! Thanks for the deals 🙂

        • Renee

I haven’t received mine yet!!! Hope it onlinees this week.

    • Marlene

Just scanned My cardiaco and recieved 3$ off any almay cosmetic Purchase =. Cheap makeup

  2. ashley

thanks colin! i started couponing a year ago today – when i started staying at home with my 3 kids. I have a 1yr, 2yr, and 3 yr old. so every penny counts. I am very thankful and blessed for the time you sacrifice to help other!! thank you for your blog! it truly makes a difference!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awe, you’re so welonlinee!

  3. Amy

And the Colgate deal is even better in our ad, too. They’re $.98 each here making them $.23 each!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Looks like there are a few variations in ads this week…

    • Brandy

Hi Amy, what part of WV do you do your CVS shopping??

      • Amy

        Fairmont/Morgantown area

  4. Michelle

How does the PG rebate program work?

    • Tarri

There is a print out of the rebate. You have to put the UPC on the form and I think the price paid. You also have to send in all your receipts. Last one I got was on a Visa. Your total has to add up to the total amount they require before coupons. But read the fine print because that can change.

  5. Tracy

Thanks for all you do Collin!!! Have a great weekend 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks! You too!

  6. Wendy

In tomorrow’s Smart Source coupons, there is a $4/1 coupon for the Schick Hydro 3 Blade Razor — which with the $4 ecb, makes the razor $1.49!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Thanks- I’ll add that in!

  7. MacKenzie

Thanks for getting this out so early!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welonlinee 🙂

  8. roy

Hey all.. be on the look out for a Cheerios coupon printing at the “Magic Coupon Machine” I got on that is $1off any Cheerios 10-14oz. Makes the Cheerios EB deal even better.

    • roy

      got one not “got on”

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! Even better! 🙂

  9. Mitch

Wow, great ECB deals this week.
I wonder if the 25% off coupon they emailed me will work with that Gilette Razor deal, that looks like the regular price, not a sale price.
I’ll use any profit to pay for milk!
    thanks!
    http://www.gaynycdad.online

  10. Karen

In SE Michigan Aldi has been selling milk for 1.69

  11. Kim

If an ecb deal states limit 4, can I buy all 4 at once or do I need to make 4 seperate transactions? Thanks!

    • Abby

you can do them all in one transaction but it won’t give you 4 separate eb it will clump them in one large eb! Hth! Also anybody know off hand how much benadryl is at Walmart? I see Cvs has it for $4.99 is that a good price?

      • Jenny

I believe it is cheaper at Target…Not sure of the price but I believe it was less than $4.99. Plus the target “up&up” brand works just as well and its $2.50-$3.00 (I also believe there is a coupon on the Target website for $1.50 off any store brand allergy item). No idea how much Walmart prices are…hth!

      • Julie

benadryl at Target is normally about $3.59ish in SoCal

    • Amanda

You can purchase them all at once or separate.

  12. Anthony

ugh how sucky…deals don’t get ecbs in socal this week 🙁 you all get them but they are absent on our ads 🙁

    • marnie

I was looking at the one in temecula and they have the ECBS posted?

      • Sandra

I’m in Temecula too. Have you noticed CVS ads are hard to onlinee by in the paper?

        • marnie

          yes I have.

  13. Amanda

Has anyone ever sent any cvs coupons from their website to your extra care card? If you do that will it print from the red machine?

    • Laura

Yes! It prints a reminder at the red machine and they will take it off at the register, remind them if you need to. I always like to save ink if I can!

      • Kat

Last week I sent my beauty reward and the 30% to my card . The red machine printed out a reminder. When I checked out the girl asked me wanted to use my beauty reward and then separately she asked if I wanted to use the 30%. Which is great because I was not ready to use my 30%.

  14. Emily

I have Save 2.00 on any one Revlon Nail Enamel CVS coupon. I actually have a bunch of them. I am looking to trade for whitestrips coupons and many others– will make for nice money makers this week! maxsmommy10 at hotmail dot online

    • Ashley

Do u still have any left. I have white strips.. Ashleytoops at hotmail

    • Nancy

Emily what other coupons are you looking for? I would love to trade for those $2/1 revlon polish. Email me [email protected]

    • Veronica

I have the $2 off Revlon coupon also but mine say you have to buy a large Dove chocolate bar and a Revlon nail polish. Are yours only buy polish get $2 off?

  15. Pamela

For the Almay deal, check your magic coupon machine coupons—there was one recently for $3 off any Almay product. If you have two, use both! Mine doesn’t expire until 8/29.

With just one of the CVS coupons, makes the Oil-Free Makeup Eraser Sticks free. If you have two, you have a moneymaker!

  16. Dora

Cvs is printing a 3 off revlon face or eye.. Lips are a part of the face right o_O

    • Seth

Oh gosh I hope so or I have been wrong all my life! However it may depend on your cashier…hahahaha

      • Jennifer

Thanks for the laugh I needed it I sure hope its part of the face but may depend on cashier 🙂

    • BHW

My favorite CVS cashier considers lips as part of the face. Her name is Amber at the Carytown store in Richmond and she is awesome.

I will even get in a longer line just for her to wait on me. She is knowledgeable about coupons and savings. I wrote CVS corporate a letter about her praising the outstanding service she always provides. Every time I go in now I get even extra special attention.

It pays to be nice to your cashier and do little extra nice things for them. I give her a lot of my extra coupons and she is always thrilled (she is a couponer at heart herself!)

    • Heather

I got that coupon today and was wondering (and hoping) the same thing too!

    • Cannielle

Lip is a part of face. But do u use face product on your lip? No, right.? If a coupon is meant for a lip product I am sure it would specify it.

      • Kate

Well, I used the coupon with the $1 off Revlon manuf q this morning for the lipstick deal, and there was no beepage or any problems at all!

    • Desiree

I’ve gotten multiples of these, as I hit the red machine every day. Can you use them all on one purchase, do you think? For instance, if I bought something for six dollars and used 2 of the $3 off coupons? The wording does not say one per purchase, it says “savings applied to total purchase with specified product” so I’m thinking yes. Thoughts?

      • mel

no, won’t work. You are allowed 1 CVS Store coupon + 1 Manuf Coupon per item. If you buy something for $6, the 1st coupon will go through, but the 2nd one will beep since it doesn’t have a product attach to.

    • Lisa W

If you check out the CoverGirl coupon that just came out this past week, the wording is “$1 off any face product” but the picture shows their new liquid eyeshadows. So that convinced me they consider eye/lip stuff as face products.

  17. BHW

Collin, I love your special attention to detail and the fact that you do read these onlinements and make changes/corrections based on new information. That’s great! 🙂

I am looking at my Red Plum from 8/5 and it doesn’t have a $1 Maybelline coupon for lips, just a $1 off for Great Lash. Do the Red Plums differ from one region to the next? Just curious?

    • mel

yes, inserts are regional, as well as value (like some areas might get .25/1, others
.75/2.) my area rarely gets Maybelline coupons, once in a blue moon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re most welonlinee! It looks like it must have been a regional coupon? 🙁

  18. Sherry

I don’t think the P&G rebate includes the crest rinse, does it? I think it ‘s only Crest toothpaste if the form I have is the same one referenced above.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re right! It’s only mentioned for those who may purchase the toothpaste deal instead of the rinse 🙂

  19. Ashley57

Woo hoo, so excited about using my free Herbal Essence coupon to get an ECB back. I am going to buy a Pepsi 2-liter for a party I am having in a few weeks!!

  20. Brittany

    Thanks Collin!

  21. Kate

Collin, the Pampers coupon for the diapers works with the jumbo pack. I’ve used it before. Thanks for putting this up! You always make my couponing easier! 🙂

    • marnie

I posted that I used this coupon last week and a few people jumped all over me and said it was basically stealing for using a coupon you shouldn’t. Good for you!

      • shanshan

@kate Please use coupon correctly! P&G pampers coupon says “box” then you should use it on a “box”, Period! If CVS failed to collect money due to your misuse of coupon then they might tighten coupon policy for all of us!

        • connie

shanshan i think these ladies are adults and can make choices on their own. the coupon is listed above in the match ups. if they feel good about it then thats their choice.

      • shanshan

@Marnie Yes you were stealing. If you can’t understand what “box” means then you shouldn’t use that coupon at all, to be on the safe side!

    • brandeeabbott

Jeeze people. read the coupon. If it says box and you are using on non-box items, i.e. the jumbo pack, then you are using it incorrectly. It’s just that simple.

      • Steph

It doesn’t matter how many times you post about how a coupon is worded, if people can use it, save a little and get away with it they will do it. No matter if it says box, bag or a particular size restriction. They don’t see that they are doing anything wrong in their opinion. It is a lost cause trying to tell them they are incorrect in how they used it.

  22. Natasha

If something is buy one get second one 50%, will it take 25% off the first item (since its regular price) if I use the 25% purchase coupon CVS emailed me this week?

    • Lenore

Just did this tonight. Since the item is a part of the sale, then the 25% is not taken off the first item. Threw off my entire total. Then to suck just a little more, the 25% coupon adjusted itself down AFTER all of my coupons had been entered.

      • mel

I found out that anytime you use a CVS STORE coupon, it will affect how the % off is deducted. Force printed extrabucks, green bag tag bucks, beauty bucks and using a $/$$ will all reduce the % off. Some coupons from the scanner will be a cvs coupon rather than a cvs manuf coupon, but you won’t know until you check out and that will affect the % off as well.

        • Laura

I just found this out, too, it made me wish I had saved all the extrabucks I used on my order for another purchase! It would have been worth it to pay cash, I would have saved so much more even though my out of pocket would have been higher…

      • mel

forgot to add that yeah, any BOGO 50% off and BOGO Frees, are considered as being on sale, therefore the % off won’t apply. % won’t apply to the 10/10 grocery items either. Also, clearance is hit or miss, sometimes the % off will work and sometimes it won’t.

        • K

thanks for explaining this, mel! i had the % off change after i paid w/ECBs last night and i didn’t understand why, so i’m glad you solved the mystery for me.

  23. sara

Does anyone have any of the $2 Almay Q’s (preferably 2) they are willing to trade? We didn’t get that one. Let me know what you need, email is [email protected]
    Thanks!

    • Colleen

      Just emailed you!

  24. Emily

The magic coupon machine has given me multiple 3$ off 15$ worth of caliber stationery this past week and that should pair nicely with the b1g1 50% off caliber stationery deal! Thanks again for the match ups Collin!

  25. cafe

FYI : the deal “Spend $10 on all Crest Pro-Health rinse 16.9 oz or larger, Whitening 16 oz, Oral-B manual toothbrush, or floss = $5 Ecb (limit 2) ” I tried Collin’s deal scenario and bought 3D , the ecb didn’t print out. 🙁

    • irene

If you shopped on Sat., your store may not have started next weeks sale yet. Mine starts at 6pm.

    • amanda

Same here, no ECBs on the 3d

    • Annadm

I did too it’s not included 🙁 but I just ended up getting some toothbrushes for my toddler.

    • Kym

      I bought the two 3D and didn’t get 5ECB.
However I wrote to CVS.online and got an email back saying the two 3D are qualified for the deal. I was told I should get 5ECB next time I scan my card at coupon machine at CVS.

Hope this helps to the people who didn’t get 5ECB automatically.

  26. Liz

I went this morning bright and early. The pampers coupon works on the jumbo pack (at least it did in Milwaukee Wi) plus I had some ECBs to use up so I only paid 3.00 out of pocket for 40 diapers. Not to shabby 🙂

    • mel

      smh…

    • brandeeabbott

Just because it scans doesn’t mean it’s right. The coupon clearly states BOX.

  27. Rosana

Getting ready to go to cvs, but wanted to share that yesterday the machine prided for the 4th time the $2 off on leggs. Got more free socks.

  28. Max

Went to CVS this morning and the CVS magic machine printed out a $3 coupon for a Revlon face or lips cosmetic. It paired nicely with the Revlon Lip stain sale making it a moneymaker 🙂

    • Annadm

Face isn’t considered lips FYI. Kinda doesn’t make sense but the coupon has to say lips or just cosmetics

      • Max

        It said both…

        • Griscelda

          mine said face or eyes

  29. kara

The Honeynut cheerios ARE included at my cvs! Thanks so much!!

  30. zelene

@ Mrs (Hip)Collin red machine printing a $3 off $15 cvs supreme Diapers and a $3 off $10 cvs brand would go nice with diaper deal this week

  31. Patricia

Thanks for the great posts! I was able to stop by my CVS, make 3 transactions. I bought 2 gallons of milk (mine were priced at 3.49) 2 listerine mouthwashes, 2 womens dove body wash, 1 mens dove body wash, 2 clean and clear face washes, 1 clean and clear moisturizer, 1 mach 3 razor and after rolling my ECB’s and my manufacture coupons my total oop was $27.35 with a total savings of $44.77 and im left with a $2 ECB to start next week. Thanks for all you do! 🙂

  32. the beth

The WhoNu? cookies are featured at 2/$5 in my local CVS ad. There is a $1/2 coupon in the 7/15 SS that expires 9/9/12, making them $2 a box.

  33. the beth

The WhoNu? cookies are featured in my local ad as 2/$5. There is a $1/2 coupon in the 7/15 SS that expires 9/9/12 that would make these just $2/box.

  34. Tarri

I am excited this week because we have the bumble bee tuna for the 2/1.00, so I will be using my recyclebank points to get the coupon. Also my store has the Colgate for .98 like you mentioned, so it will be real cheap with the .75 coupon. Going to get the Listerine and Crest Mouthwash deals to. I have around 10 ecb I have to use up so some of these deals will help me roll some over.

  35. Erica

Listerine Cool Mint, FreshBurst, or Zero 500mL, Pocketpaks 72ct, or Reach Advanced Design soft 3ct $2.99 = $2 Ecb (limit 2)
Use the $1/1 Reach coupon found in the 7/29 RP
    Pay $1.99
    Get back $2 Ecb
    Final cost FREE!
*There’s also a $1/2 Reach coupon found here

For this deal, has anyone tried to get the toothbrushes? The REACH coupon I received on 7/29 was $1/1 Reach toothbrush so I’m not sure if it is ethical to use it for the 3 pack that’s on sale? Also, the link provided does not appear to be a coupon usable for a 3ct pack..

    Thanks so much!

    • Samantha

I don’t think it’s unethical. I think the coupon is for $1 off of ONE PACK, whether that be a one count or more. If manufacturers want to put more specific guidelines on things, it’ll say ‘only on multipacks’ or ‘valid on one count only’ I consider myself a very careful couponer, and I’ve never felt bad about your scenario.

    • the beth

I agree with Samantha. The coupon does have exclusions (excludes trial sizes, and is not valid on Reach Crystal Clean toothbrush). There are times where coupons say not valid on multipacks, but this one does not. And I did buy 2 packs of these toothbrushes last night.

      • Trinity

Did your coupon beep? If mine beeps my cvs won’t take it…

        • the beth

Nope, I had no beeps. That’s really weird how some of us don’t get the beeps and others do.. with the same coupon for the same items. :-/

  36. edy

Erica, I did this deal first – I had 14 bucks from last week. I bought the 6 revlon nail polish 4.99 – 1 cpns after my 14 bucks I paid 10.48 cash. I got 18 bucks back with those –I bought 2 listerine using 2/1dlr cpns 4 crest with bogo cpns and 1 oral B toothbrush and 1 schick hydro razor 4cpn paid with cpns and 18 bucks. I got 4 bucks for schick 4 razor 4 bucks listerine and 10 from crest deal. After that I had a 5/25 baby purchase I got 3/7 cvs pampers and 4 cvs wipes and used the cvs cpn 5/25 and the bucks. Got 10 bucks back cvs pampers with those got 2 almay mascaras 5.99 and some haneys sock clearance 1.49 and haneys 3 pack white ladys panties 1.99 and found some bounty double rolls single rolls clearance $2.07. Too! I still have bucks also. The cvs machine gave me a softsoap cpn 2/2 bar soap. I asked the cashier about this cpn and she said they have this soaps on the dollar deals so -i got 2/ 3packs soaps 1.00 each for free. It does say softsoap on package.

  37. Yuliana

That moment when you are waiting by the cash register to check-out and u see one of the workers ringin up an item u just asked for after you was told they dont have any, and she looks shocked at the price because it’s on clearance and then amongs themselves say keep it in the back and call the others. Wth really??? I guess we don’t only have to try and beat other customers to sale products but the workers too 🙁 well my store had the bounty on clearance but I guess the workers are going to keep it for themselves.

Yuliana, you may want to call corporate office and politely tell them what happened…not sure if they can do anything, but it’s worth informing them about your experience.

Yes! The bounty was clearance at @ cvs the 8 pack last week. Then I saw the single rolls last week too. I told several friends but, no one went this was last wednesday, today I went and single rolls were still there on shelf so everyone had a chance. But, usually employees are not interested only if its electronics like whem the mp3 player. But, @ others stores I heard that they do keep some thing for employees. But, I’m the cvs I shop they know that I usually find the clearance items and today. I was looking for clearance plates and tissue packs earth essentials cvs brands and candles and socks (haines) underwear and always infinity the ones with the small bag. And cashier always let’s me use the hand scanner to scan prices so, I don’t have to go to scanner. Be on the look up for clearance and check website for postyings

I was gonna leave a onlinement on the post bout the revlon lip thing but I’m guessing be because of the negativty and drama it got delted so ill say it here first as a beauty advisor for walgreens I consider lips part of your face and if the coupon didn’t want u to use it on your lips it would say so I don’t shop cvs but I’m assuming rbc are like wags ivc which if u don’t buy the right item it will beep and say no item found also thank u collin for wat u do u have saved me tons of time effort and money as for that vindictive u know wat ingore her she got issues and I have no idea why she had to talk to u that way if she don’t like wat u say she should not go to your page u are so sweet and nice to everyone she came off a know it all a snob and mean who made her coupon sherffif it is up to cvs how they take there coupons period revlon is not even invloved

Your post re-starts the drama. Just leave it alone.

Just a heads up in case this happen to others. I did the Dove deal yesterday and the $3 off 2 dove hair coupon beeped with the second coupon because it says only one coupon per transaction in the fine print. The Cashier pushed it through, and it wasn’t a problem, but figured I would let people know. Have a great day all, and thanks Collin for all you do.

    • sj4life

Maybe it’s a regional exclusion, but mine reads, “Limit one coupon per purchase on product/quanitity specified, and Maximum of Two Identical Coupons allowed in same shopping trip.” I read that to mean that you can use two in one transaction. It shouldn’t be beeping, but thanks for the heads up!

      • Trinity

Mine beeped too!! And my coupon stated the same as yours, sj4life. It didn’t happen a few weeks ago when I bought 4 and used 2 coupons together. I ended up doing two transaction, but even then it beeped too. It threw my transaction off onlinepletely!! And I had to pay a little bit more oop due to splitting up my order.

I realize coupons differ from region to region. I have a coupon that reads: “$1 off any Revlon color cosmetic”. The coupon has a picture of nail polish on it. But I am wondering, would this coupon be good for lips or blush?

I hope everyone will keep their answers civil. There was a lot of drama and negativity in a recent post from one onlinementer. It appeared it was so bad that Collin had to take it down.

Thanking you in advance for your help.

    • the beth

I would myself also believe it is good on “color cosmetics” besides nail polish. That is similar to where a coupon may say “$1 off any Aussie hair product” and showed a photo of a styler, it could be used on any shampoo, conditioner, or styler, unless specific item exclusions or size limits were listed. Just my experience. 🙂

    • Ruth

yes I go the same coupon and yes it would work on all cosmetic items because it states ANY revlon color cosmetics VS. any revlon face product.

This site is trying to help people save money and gets it right most of the time. However, the revlon post was deleted because it was misinformation. Everyone makes mistakes. I appreciate that it was corrected.

I’m having trouble finding the $1/1 Revlon coupon in either of the two SS listed (7/22 and 8/5). Are these qs regional? Can someone help me out (any hint as to which page it’s on would be VERY appreciated!!)

    • kylie

They are regional. I get two different papers out if the twin cities and only one had the the Revlon.

  46. Tiffany

On the P&G ecb deal, if I buy 2 toilet paper and 1 paper towel = $29.91 will the $10 ecb still print? I know it usually prints with a couple of penny difference but 9, I was not sure…………………………….. thank you

    • the beth

Yes, Tiffany… as long as your amount meets 98% of the goal amount (which is $30), you will receive the ecb. To do that, your amount needs to be at least $29.40.

(If you’re not sure, use this math: (goal amount) x .98 = minimum amount needed)

      Hope it helps

Does anyone know if the gilette mach 3 turbo razor deal is regional? I have went through my ad several times and can’t find it. I went to my store and it’s not marked on sale so I was just wondering. Thanks.

    • Carly

I think it is very oddly regional… Odd because I went to the CVS closest to my house on Sunday and bought one and the deal/price, etc. all worked. Then yesterday I stopped by a CVS across town (same city – only about 6 miles away) and it was NOT part of the deal there. First time I have ran into this within my own city…
