Table Decorating for Fall Using Items from Target (All for Around $30!)
Here’s how I incorporated affordable Target finds into my current decor for around $30. Table decorating for fall is my favorite pastime!
Time to start thinking about pumpkins and all things fall!
They say, “You don’t go to Target because you need something. Instead, you go there and let Target tell you what you need.”
I wandered into Target and immediately was impressed with their beautiful fall decor again this year. It’s all so well put together, stylish, and full of eye-pleasing neutral colors and textures. I have a weakness for decorative pumpkins and all the cozy fall seasonal decor!
Need fall table decorating inspiration? I got you!
We recently asked readers on Instagram what type of content they were looking for and one reader asked for tabletop decorating on a budget! Well, since this happens to be a favorite topic of mine, so I am sharing what’s on my table for fall as inspiration!
You may think it might be too early, but in order to scoop up the best selection, I reonlinemend thinking about seasonal decor early to make sure your favorites will still be in stock.
In order to save money, I headed to the Bullseye’s Playground $1, $3, and $5 spot first and found some goodies.
They had a pretty good selection of small pumpkins, acorns, and fall-inspired greenery items towards the front of the store. The small shelf was part of their back-to-school collection, but I thought it would be great to display the smaller candles and pumpkins.
The beautiful pitcher onlinees in various colors and the beautiful woven pumpkin is part of the Threshold decor line. I am super impressed with the quality of these items!
Utilizing items I already have on hand is my number one way to save money while decorating seasonally.
For instance, I’ve had this oversized Hearth & Hand wood tray for a long time and change up the decor pieces I display on it for each season. It serves as a pretty anchor on the table for any centerpiece all year long and adds warmth and nice texture.
P.S. I also of course use it in the kitchen too for serving snack boards and food items!
I typically decorate using the rule of three.
Arranging three interest areas or objects on a tray is a popular home accessory strategy that’s well-loved by interior designers and usually works well for me, too! If you vary the height of your three objects it creates an appealing result. I do this a lot of times on shelves and coffee tables too. In this case, the pitcher, shelf, and pumpkin are the three “items”.
Also if you are curious, I did grab the actual tray in my local Target and styled my items right in the store first, making sure they all fit nicely! 😂
