For the past few weeks, we’ve been hacking our Starbucks orders with viral secret menu beverages including Firecracker drinks and one that tastes like a Wendy’s frosty — and most importantly, how to order them all!

So how can you score a BOGO free drink whenever you want?! 🤔 We sent Stetson out to do some detective work on the best and most budget-friendly way to order drinks at Starbucks…

If you don’t ever want to pay full price for TWO Starbucks drinks, then this is a fun way to hack your order at Starbucks to get 2 nearly full Venti iced drinks for the price of one! 🙌

Here’s how to get the secret BOGO free Starbucks deal:

  • Then, ask for a second venti cup with JUST ice

Note that there should be no extra charge for the cup with ice but in some cases, it may be up to the store’s discretion. However, we did have Stetson call his local Starbuck’s beforehand and his location confirmed that they do not charge for the cup of ice. 👏

The total price he paid for his venti Guava Passionfruit drink was $5.45. So once you have both your Starbucks cups in hand, just pour the ice and drink between both cups. It’s really that easy!

That’s TWO Starbucks venti drinks for about $2.73 each! 🎉

On a side note, did you know that you can score a Starbucks drink for free if you’re new to the Starbucks rewards program?! Here’s all the info!

I’m a huge fan of this page, but this just isn’t right. Starbucks uses more money for their employees’ benefits than they do on their actual products. Scamming them isn’t cool. ☹️

    • Jes

Agreed, this doesn’t quite sit well.

    • veronicafolgar

      I agree too!

    • Jessica

I agree. Not a fan of this. Doesn’t seem right.

    • Lolas93

When I was young and my family didn’t have money (especially in summer with no A/C in the car) my mom would get a large drink and get us small cups of ice and we’d all share her drink. Same thing. It’s not a hack or a scam. It’s what we did when we were poor.

      • Mendy

When you are on a budget and can’t afford this is a money saver. I do this with my young ones not only because it’s cheaper but sometimes they don’t finish their drinks and ends up being a waste of money. We are all gonna have our opinions on this. Let’s just say it’s not for everybody and you are paying for one drink. Tropical smoothie cafe let’s you do this and even ask you if you want to split the large ones into two smaller.

    • grandmat57

      🙄🙄🙄
Please! Maybe you should look up what the CEO makes!!! You should be worried more about THAT!!! Now what do you think is a “SCAM”?! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

      • Yia M.

So if it were a mom and pop, then it wouldn’t be okay? This is wrong full stop.

      • Jennifer

I know what the former and current CEOs made. I also know what they do for the onlinemunities they are in worldwide and their employees. Maybe if you looked that up, you’d see who you were stealing from. Anyone who needs to do this should make drinks at home. Forgetting how morally wrong it is, I’d be embarrassed.

  2. queen62

Why would you call it a scam? The amount of ice they put in your drink is ridiculous and not necessary.

  3. Jaime

When I ask for no ice, my cup is only filled 3/4 of the way every time.

  4. Lisa

My Starbucks won’t fill your cup all the way up if you don’t get ice. 🙁

  5. Katrina

This is silly. I hope people don’t actually do this. Ice, cups, lids and straws are not free. The consumer will lose in the long run when Starbucks has to up their already premium prices to pay for additional supplies.

  6. Liz

Starbucks charging that much for a “drink” is a scam, not this post. I don’t go there because you pay for the ice and not the actual drink.

    • Wren

I know, like Starbucks is barely scraping by money-wise and doesn’t gyp us with every normal drink purchase 🙄🤣🤣. Howard Schultz is a socialist, he would love this idea.

      • grandmat57

        Executive onlinepensation
As president and chief executive officer at STARBUCKS CORP, Kevin R. Johnson made $19,241,950 in total onlinepensation.
You would think they would be more worried about THAT! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

        • Jennifer

You think it’s a walk in the park to be a CEO of a global onlinepany? Why don’t you do more research and you’ll see that they spend more on their employees benefits than anything else, even coffee (–which they are one of few that pay a fair amount for).

      • Jennifer

Howard Schultz isn’t the CEO and hasn’t been for quite some time. He also built Starbucks into what it is and is why they are so amazing to their employees. Perhaps you need to do more research.

  7. Mendy

If you already have one of their reusable cups, this could also help calm the way some people see this deal.

  8. Dkp91576

I do this with multiple drinks. I bring my own travel cups and order a trenta lemonade iced tea or french vanilla iced coffee and mom and I split it. Or instead of a latte, get doppio over ice and add your own milk or cream. You save a lot of money this way.

  9. Tess

I agree. This doesn’t sit well with me either. My face was scrunched up while I was reading this. So wrong. Not for me. If you can’t afford it, maybe you shouldn’t be buying it. I can see you buying a large drink for the children and splitting it but maybe you should keep your own cups in the car.

  10. Darla B

I dislike Starbucks politics so I don’t support them, however, they charge way too much for their drinks so I have no problem with tips on how people can save money there.
