Looking to set up a super cute homeschooling learning station?

Hip2Save team member Jami created the most amazing homeschooling learning station for her daughter, thanks to some clever Dollar Tree supplies. She even found wall decor and educational teaching tools to onlineplete the space!

If you haven’t checked out the craft section at Dollar Tree, you’re seriously missing out! They’ve got everything from pens and pencils, markers and crayons, glues and paints, and just about anything else you could need for a well-stocked school or crafting set up.

You can even find organizers and bins to keep writing, coloring, and crafting supplies neat and tidy. Browse the school section and also be sure to look down the office supplies, laundry organizers and even plasticware aisles.

We love that this concept can also be applied to children who aren’t specifically homeschooled as well. Using Dollar Tree items, you can create a space for onlinepleting homework, doing crafts, or just as an area to let those creative (and educational!) juices flow.

Even sweeter, Jami finished off the look with cute decor like the metal “Sparkle” sign and celestial garland to make the working environment more welonlineing. We totally love this schooling set up, especially since she created it for cheap thanks to Dollar Tree!

Love the school supplies from Dollar Tree- I’ve been homeschooling for the past 8 years and got many nice posters, flashcards and containers. Jami- I love the Sparkle sign and the garland 🙂

Love it! I’m going to scour the internet for those adorable cloud book stands!!!

    • Teresa

Target has some cloud book shelves!

      • Mrs. G

        Hobby lobby does too!

What a cute idea! I’m new to homeschooling, so I’ll have to check out my local Dollar Tree. Thanks for the heads up!

The kindergarten teacher uses the same caddy for her students except the crayons are in a ziploc and in the big section. Pencils in one small and scissors/glue/highlighter in other. Erasers in a small ice cream cup at the center of the table

Anyone have anywhere to get a 4 seat white table? I want one for my homeschool room but all I can find is kids size and I want a regular sized one.

    • Mamma

We bought 4 white desks from Walmart and pushed them together to make a table!

IKEA has great kids furniture. We have a small white table then you can. It as many little white chairs as you need

Here’s my two cents. The yellow caddy from Dollar Tree is extremely small (as you can see in the picture). I waited until Target’s Dollar Spot put school stuff on clearance to get one of there much larger caddies for cheaper. I can’t remember if it was originally $3 or $5, but even at $2.50 for the larger one, mine holds 10 times more than the one from Dollar Tree can hold. My Target caddy contains: roughly 48 crayons lying lengthwise in one of the squares, roughly 36 markers [not the skinny ones] standing up in the other square, and at least 100 colored pencils lying lengthwise in the rectangle, PLUS I’ve got room for a few glue sticks or scissors too.

Dollar tree now has that size too. They are hard to find because they are selling out fast. I am a teacher and went to multiple stores to get the three different colors they have for my classroom.

      • Amy

I found the larger size caddy at dollar tree last summer. I bought several to keep various arts and crafts supplies in for my kids. I’m hoping they have then again this summer so I can grab a few more for myself.

I have never seen one as big as my Target one at any Dollar Tree near me. That’s awesome if they’re selling them larger though!

I am a teacher and have what is considered a well organized classroom by others. All my items are deals or creative finds for my classroom. Great job!

The bigger ones were at my dollar tree and I use them for movie night. Popcorn, drink, and candy. It works great and my kids love them!!
