Short On Space? Here’s How to Grow Your Own Keyboard Garden!
Need some greenery in your office?
Many of those in the corporate world spend most of their time in an indoor office, so why not bring the outdoors in?! That’s why we’re thrilled about these keyboard gardens. They’re great for those of you who want to be reminded of your inner green thumb every time you physically use your green thumb!
The best part about a keyboard garden is that it’s inexpensive, you do it yourself, and it brightens up the office without taking up excess space. Make one for yourself, your work wife, your office bestie, or your boss to show your appreciation. Once all your coworkers see how awesome your keyboard garden looks, they’re all going to be lining up for you to grow one for them, too!
I know what you’re thinking, but don’t worry — the soil and water do NOT affect the functionality of your keyboard. You’ll still be enjoying a high-speed and responsive keyboard. It’s just going to be as decorative as it is efficient in your daily workday, and every time you look down you won’t be able to do anything but smile. 😄
So, how do I grow a keyboard garden?!
Unplug your keyboard from the onlineputer. Simply remove the keys from your keyboard and open up the circuit. From there, add some layers of soil surrounding where the keys are. Feel free to add a protective layer underneath the soil or just apply it directly to the internal space.
The coolest part is you don’t even need to add seeds! In most standard keyboards, there is a hidden layer of seeds beneath the keys ready to sprout once the soil is added. I guess they don’t call it “Apple” for nothin’. 😉
The last step is to apply a quick mist of water, which I reonlinemend using this ergonomically designed spray bottle for the evenest application. Then re-connect the keys onto your keyboard, and in a few days, you’ll have a stunning keyboard garden!
I can’t wait to show off my garden!
This is especially perfect for a home office or for anyone who just doesn’t have the space for a full-on garden. Seriously, everyone who has seen mine has asked me to make one for them. I’m so backed up with all these orders, I may even begin my own keyboard garden farm or co-op. 🤷♀️ I hope these easy steps will help you grow your own!
