According to a user on Reddit, the tag that’s sewn to the corner of your fitted sheet is always supposed to go on the bottom right corner of your bed. What a genius tip!

While there may be a rogue onlinepany out there that doesn’t abide by these rules, I’ve found my sheets typically have a convenient tag reading”top/bottom” or “side” as another helpful guide.

3. Put the top corners on first so you have an easier time stretching that last corner.

The corners that sit against your headboard are the hardest to stretch a fitted sheet over, especially if your sheet fits nice and snug on your mattress. Make your life easier and put the top corners of your fitted sheet on first. Then stretch the bottom corners on. Following these steps will result in a seamless bed-making experience. 🙌🏻

4. Keep your sheet from slipping off of your bed by adding an elastic band to keep it in place.
