  Netty, don’t have it but had considered it and had done extensive research online and actually in store. Wow, they are expensive. For us, we did not like the aspect that it was heavy. I mean, not that we were going to be moving anytime soon, but it is heavy. We also took into account, well, we kind of like getting a new mattress every so often, so we could not justify the expensive or inconvenience. A mattress is such a personal decision. If you are intrigued, sure, I’d say look into the purple mattress. We were intrigued but could not justify it for us. Good luck (sweet dreams).

  Thanks. I didn’t know Purple mattresses were heavy. I have an adjustable base and the weight limit on those includes the mattress as well as the occupants. I can cross Purple off of potential replacement mattresses.

  I have a purple mattress. We bought it 3 or 4 years ago. It’s not that heavy. I’m 37 and 150 pounds and I can turn it around myself (not flip it turn it). I’m not a huge fan of it but my husband loves it. It’s kind of firm definitely not as soft as our old mattress but we paid much much less for this purple mattress. I can’t remember the exact model we have but it was in the middle of the prices and it’s a queen size. I think we paid less than $2,000 for it. Again it has been a few years ago. I definitely think it was worth the price we paid.

   Does anyone have any reonlinemendations for an an extra firm mattress?

   Also, with little kids who are always napping or sleeping on our bed, does anyone have thoughts on a king vs. cal king? We used to have a cal king, but it always felt like a beast to move, and then the options for bed sheets were always limited or didn’t seem to fit nicely, and our bed frame was custom. We are on the taller side, so maybe go with another cal king?

  Tempur-pedic from Costco. Best price, best return policy, and amazing bed. It will definitely last!!! We love ours so very much!! (We bought the medium, but the firm is definitely firm!)

   There’s $250 delivery charge for a mattress at macys! Must be similar in others too. Include that in the pricing please.

   I bought a new hybrid mattress!!! I’m so psyched! I’ve been researching them for months and found the one I wanted and was waiting for it it to go on sale this weekend and it did (of course I kept onlineparing them down to the last second!). I found the same brand at another website and it was cheaper but it had a slightly off model number and it didn’t mention that it had edge guard so you could sit on it – and that would be a deal breaker! So, I just spent the extra $70 and got it at Amazon where it did say that and had a better warranty etc. plus I broke down and used by bonus so it worked out well that I chose the one at Amazon. I’m so excited and no one else would care but my fellow hipsters….I have been saving up my Amazon Rewards Visa points for a couple of years and decided to use it on our new mattress so I got it for $FREE!!!! 🥳 Yay me!!! 🥳. It was 32,332 points well earned and spent…and I will be sleeping on FREE next week!!! (Well don’t tell my husband what I had to spend to get those points 😉🥴😉) (I always have paid off the balance each month so they never have gotten an extra cent from me so it really IS free!) 🤑🤑🤑

  Btw, I got the Novilla 12” hybrid that both Emily and Melinda have (I know that sounds stalker-ish, but I told you I’ve been doing my research and they posted about it in a review on here!) Plus it was the -“Best Overall” in the mattresses in a box post!
