Easy & Free Hack to Saving on Hand Soap
Here’s a quick and easy hack!
Adjust your soap dispenser to give you just the right amount of soap for a thorough cleaning – without spending a dime OR a lot of time!
With frequent hand washing, have you ever noticed how much soap is actually dispensed each time you pump? Chances are, it’s more than you need! Children especially enjoy the fun of pushing several times which can add to using a lot more soap than needed.
To ensure a sufficient amount, Hip2Save reader Shanna sent in this tip that’ll reduce the amount of soap dispensed each time you (or anyone else in your family) press the pump.
Grab a hair tie and get ready! This tip saves you money and it’s so incredibly easy to do that even the kiddos can help with this one. All you do is wrap a hair tie several times around the neck of the soap pump.
By stopping the ability to pump all the way down, less soap is dispensed. You’ll still get plenty of soap for washing but it’s a quick and easy way to stop waste and save a little money!
So simple and so smart!
Odds are that this hack will not save you hundreds of dollars. What it will do is reduce the frequency of having to buy or refill your soap dispenser. In the long run, it could save you a little bit of cash as well!
