I’m all for trying new ways to enjoy s’mores. I think it would so fun to set up a Build Your Own S’more Bar at your next backyard gathering or camping trip and have all the ingredients on hand for everyone to build their ultimate s’more.
Try making a bunch of s’mores at once using a sheet pan in the oven!
I tried making melted s’more Oreos or “S’moreos” in the oven and here are my results!
On my first try, I overcooked the marshmallows in the oven and they slid off the sheet pan and it became a giant mess. LOL! I ended up trying again and was successful. This does get kind of messy but is so delicious. My kids loved the Oreo s’mores.
Follow these steps to make sheet pan Oreo s’mores:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Twist off the tops of 12 Oreo cookies. Place the bottoms on a sheet pan.
- Place a small piece of chocolate on top of each Oreo.
- Place a marshmallow on top of the chocolate and bake in the oven for about 90 seconds – 2 minutes to melt.
- Take the sheet pan out of the oven and place the tops back on the Oreos. Enjoy!
