Pull Apart Pumpkin Spice Loaf
yield: 8 SERVINGS
Sweet & Buttery pull-apart pieces of pumpkin spice heaven!
Ingredients
For the Loaf:
- 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1 can flaky biscuits (such as Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers)
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
For the Glaze:
- 2 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 3 teaspoons milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
1
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Set aside.
2
On a large cutting board, separate each biscuit in half so that you'll end up with 16 rounds total, as there are 8 biscuits to a package.
3
Spoon on a little melted butter to each round, followed by a little less than a teaspoon of the pumpkin mixture.
4
Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of each round. Stack them in groups of 4 rounds.
5
Place them in a greased loaf pan in one continuous roll.
6
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until the loaf is deep golden brown and the center is baked through.
7
For the glaze, use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese. Add in milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla, and mix until smooth. Pour over the top of the loaf. (You can turn the loaf onto a plate and then glaze, but I left it in the pan. Just personal preference.)
