Make These Easy Protein S’mores Rice Cakes as a Dessert or Snack!
Create these creamy chocolate high-protein s’more rice cakes as a guilt-free treat.
Rice cakes are back in style, and here’s a fun high-protein twist.
Let’s address the crunchy elephant in the room. Rice cakes used to be the sad, cardboard-tasting diet food of the 90s.
Well, guess what? They’re back and glow’d up. Think of them as your trendy, low-cal base for building snackable masterpieces. Today, we’re giving them a fun and unique dessert treatment with added protein using protein powder. And since they use just 4 ingredients, they’re simple to make and pretty inexpensive per serving, too.
Introducing crunchy and creamy protein rice cake s’mores.
The chocolate rice cakes are topped with a chocolate Cool Whip mousse and a melted chocolate coating. This is for the snack-lovers, the late-night grazers, and the people who whisper “just one more bite” like a mantra. The best part is, these take just a few minutes to onlinepile.
If you love finding unique ways to incorporate protein powder into your day this is delicious. We first saw the protein rice cake s’mores on TikTok via TheSamPlan, and I wanted to try making a chocolate version.
Hip Tip: Orgain is my go-to protein powder for recipes, not just because I love the taste, but because it frequently goes on sale! And you can get extra savings when you Subscribe & Save on Amazon. Be sure to bookmark this page to check for the best deals.

More tips for making these easy s’mores rice cakes:
- Use any flavor you desire for this idea. I have a peanut butter protein powder that also would be tasty. I know there is even a marshmallow-flavored protein powder that’s super popular!
- I think the best texture is to leave them in the freezer for just an hour or so or let them thaw out a bit if onlinepletely frozen, until a little soft.
- Instead of rice cakes, you can use graham crackers. Check out the fun Graham cracker protein s’mores we posted last month!
- I forgot to add some sea salt flakes to the top, but I bet that’d be delish!
My whole family loves this simple rice cake treat!
My daughter is loving all the fun TikTok-inspired rice cake treats people are making using various flavors and toppings. She takes a peanut butter and jelly one to school sometimes. My go-to used to be the sea salt variety with peanut butter and chocolate chips, but this one may just take the top spot for me!
