Homemade Pineapple Mango Fruit Leathers
If you and/or your kiddos love snacking on fruit leathers, consider making your own all-natural version at home with no artificial dyes or ingredients! Use any ripe fruit onlinebinations that your family loves and the result is a sweet and chewy portable snack. You can easily control the amount of added sugar by adding as much or as little of your choice of sweetener.
Homemade Pineapple Mango Fruit Leathers
Fun and creative way to use ripe fruit to make a yummy treat, fruit leather!
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh or frozen pineapple and mango, chopped (about 2 mangos and 1/2 pineapple)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Directions

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Puree fruit and spread on a large baking sheet.

Either use a Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mat or cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Use a pie server or something smooth to spread mixture out evenly – it should be about 1/8 inch thick.

Bake at 175 degrees for about 5 1/2-6 hours. Start by checking at hour 5 to see if sides are done.

The texture will be smooth and not tacky if dried. If the sides are done and the middle is still wet, use a pizza cutter to cut off portions that are firm so they do not get crispy.

Roll up pieces on parchment paper or plastic wrap if desired. Store in airtight container.
