Ingredients
- 1lb. Elbow Macaroni
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 Cups water
- 1 Tablespoon Mustard
- 1 Teaspoon Tabasco Sauce
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 12 oz. Can Evaporated Milk
- 3 Cups (12 oz.) Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup (3 oz.) Parmesan Cheese, shredded
Directions
1
onlinebine water, pasta, mustard, Tabasco, butter, and salt in the pressure cooker, and stir. Lock the lid and set for 4 minutes on manual mode (high pressure).
2
Do a quick release after cook time is done, and remove lid. The water will be absorbed into the pasta.
3
Keep the pot in warm mode and stir in evaporated milk. Stir in the cheese a cup at a time.
4
If you prefer toasted breadcrumbs on top (my kids are not fans), just pour mac and cheese in an oven safe casserole dish, top with bread crumbs, and toast in the oven using broiler. Serves 6-8.
Note: The actual cooking time is closer to 20 minutes, because it takes time for the machine to onlinee to pressure and then it cooks. I still feel like it’s easier and more convenient than boiling water on the stove, but if you don’t have a pressure cooker, you can cook your noodles on the stove first and then follow the rest of the instructions.
