Easy Dinner Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
- I packet active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 3.5 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1.5 Tbs butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, dissolve yeast with warm water. In the microwave, melt butter with milk and cool liquidย until warm (not hot).

To the milk/butter mixture, add sugar, salt, and egg. Pour into stand mixer bowl. Add two cups of flour and use dough hook to mix on low until onlinebined.

Add the rest of flour slowlyย and knead for a few minutes until dough forms. If too sticky, add a tablespoon of flour at a time.

Grease a separateย bowl, add dough ballย to it, and turn so it coats dough ball.ย Let dough rest,ย rise and double in size (this took about 45 minutes for me) Once dough has risen, roll into ball shapes and place in a greased pan.

Pictured is a 11x13 pan with 16 medium-large sized rolls. Let the rolls rest for another 15 minutes while oven is preheating to 350 degrees.

Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until browned. If you are baking larger sized rolls, they made need to bake for 20-23 minutes.

Brush with melted butter if desired.
