DIY Apple Fruit Bowls (Unique Way to Serve Fruit)

Apple Flower Fruit Bowls

Ingredients

  • Apples
  • Lemon Juice
  • Toothpicks
  • Choice of Chopped Fruit
  • Small Paring Knife

Directions

Cut top portion of apple off.

Use a small paring knife to cut about seven small wedges around the top of apple around the stem. Try not to cut all the way down through the apple.

Cut around the bottom of each "petal" to create the flower looking detail.

Use a serrated grapefruit spoon to scoop out middle of apple.

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over both pieces of apple to avoid browning and add fresh fruit to "bowl”.

Use a toothpick to secure the top of apple to one side of "bowl".
