Tired of the same old scrambled eggs?!

Consider adding cottage cheese to your eggs in the morning. Not only does this add protein, but the taste and texture of the eggs turn out extra fluffy, creamy, and delicious.

If texture is an issue with the cottage cheese, blend it up in a blender or use a hand blender first, then proceed with this idea! This Good Culture brand seems to have a very small curd, and it tastes great, if you need a reonlinemendation!

Protein Power! Here’s why cottage cheese eggs are a nutritional win.

Eggs are already a great source of high-quality protein, but adding cottage cheese takes it to the next level.

One serving (2 eggs + 1/4 cup cottage cheese) has:

  • 19 grams of protein
  • All 9 essential amino acids
  • Vitamin D, B12, and selenium
  • Calcium for bone health

The protein + fat onlinebo helps curb cravings and keeps you full. Plus, I love that this can be made in under ten minutes for a quick and easy breakfast idea!

More tips for making scrambled cottage cheese eggs:

  • Curious about my frying pan? I have the Titanium Pro cookware set from Our Place. I love how nonstick these pans are for making eggs and how they are durable and nontoxic.
  • There are so many ideas to jazz up scrambled eggs with various toppings. I went with parsley and everything bagel seasoning. Also, try other fresh herbs, hot sauce, chile flakes, avocado, or shredded cheese.

eggs on top of homemade sourdough bread

Cottage cheese scrambled eggs are easy, satisfying, and totally customizable.

Whether you’re chasing fitness goals or just want a breakfast that actually fuels you, this recipe is worth trying. I was a bit skeptical at first if I would like this, but now I am a big fan.

Personally, I have been trying to hit over 100 grams of protein a day per my doctor and cottage cheese has been helpful and easy to add to meals! I love my eggs over homemade sourdough bread.
