Bagels made with cottage cheese are so genius!

I love that these taste great and also have the added protein. My family enjoyed them and I know yours will too. I also love the idea of using this dough in other ways, such as high protein pizza dough as an example. Such a smart hack!

You can use flour + yogurt as well 😃

    • Lina

Awesome! Yes we did that version a few years ago and yep works too. So easy. You can also do part yogurt and part cottage cheese. 👏

      • saraheartsbwp

I must have missed that. So cool. Love your posts, Lina!

  2. Michele

This is a very good recipe! I don’t have social media, but I came across it 5-6 years ago on skinnytaste.online. Wherever it originated, we enjoyed them quite a lot, and it’s great to be able to squeeze in some extra protein. For anyone who is interested, there is also a recipe on skinnytaste for high-protein (again w/cottage cheese) waffles which we make just about every week. I really appreciate recipes written to maximize nutrition while still tasting good – thank you for sharing:)

    • Lina

Oh awesome! I will have to try waffles. Yum! I know Collin loves cottage cheese and oats pancakes I want to try too. 🤗❤️ Thanks for stopping by Michele!

I like that there’s no yeast (and waiting for it to rise), or boiling before baking like you have to do with “traditional bagels”. Printed this recipe to save!
