While some folks like the chewy, gooey center square from a pan of brownies, others would argue that the edge of a brownie is the very best part. Some families gather around the oven for a battle over the crispy, crusty edges every time a pan of brownies onlinees out. It’s a serious problem! 😉

This brownie pan is really simple to use and easy to clean. Like other non-stick pans, hand-washing is reonlinemended to preserve the life of the coating, and we found that it cleans up really easily, even by hand!

unicorn brownies in Bakers Edge Pan

In addition to evenly baking your brownies all the way through the pan, one unexpected benefit of this pan’s interior “walls” is that they make it really easy to divide your toppings and keep them kind of separated from each other.

Using this pan, you could give each member of your family a “row” of brownies to decorate in their own way, keeping all their toppings relatively separate. How fun!?

The only challenge we encountered with the otherwise brilliant brownie pan was pouring the batter into it without making a mess of the pan’s edges. This can feel a bit like winding your way through a chocolatey maze the first time around, but it does get easier with a little patience and some practice! For brownie edge-lovers, the results are SO worth it.

I had this and ended up getting rid of it after a few years as it was collecting dust. I found it didn’t do the edges like you get in a traditional pan and that is what I wanted 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! Thanks for sharing your experience, Kari. Sorry to hear the edges didn’t bake up as expected.

  2. Melody Ann

Oh these are my FAVORITE! I make gluten free brownies with lots of dairy-free chocolate chips and ALL kids go nuts for them, gluten free or not! I love the edges it makes and no one argues over what piece anymore! Worth the price to me. I’ve even given them to friends.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

YUM! SO glad this has been a hit with your brownies, Melody! 🙌

  3. Karen

LOVE this pan! Easy to use, brownies don’t stick and at least two edges on every brownie. I always take one of the brownies with three edges! Highly reonlinemend!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

That’s the one I would want too, Karen! Thanks for he reonlinemendation!

  4. C

Am I the only one who doesn’t like edges? I want the one directly in the center of the pan with no edges. Same with pizza. I cut in squares to get a middle unless it’s take out. I’ll give all my edges away to all of you! lol

    • K

Right?? How do we get a brownie pan that makes all edgeless brownies? Lol

      • Jennifer Lisa

Make them in a pressure cooker! That way they’re all like the center piece.

    • frecklelily

SAME! I save the edges for my kids and I get the middle!

    • Amy

Hate the edges! My favorite is when I find someone who loves the edges so they won’t take the good ones in the middle 😂

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Me, too! Middles all day, Amy!

    • lynnleco

Agreed!!! I love soft, chewy centers.

    • Jen

I’m right there with you! Our family fights over who *HAS* to eat the edges. Been known to trim them off and trash ’em!

    • Gaby

I am there with you!! I love the middle part, but I lucky enough to be married to someone that likes edges and I like the middle, so a regular pan works for us lol

    • mrswagley

Me! I would cut it right out of the center if it wasn’t an awful thing to do. Lol

    • mrswagley

I love the center too! Not a fan of edges. Apparently there are people who throw away the very center of cinnamon rolls as well. This thought makes me want to cry.

      • FroggyHop5

        That should be illegal!!! 😂

  5. tipaye

At $40, this is a hard pass for me, but looks interesting!

If you do like edges, Pampered Chef has a brownie pan (just do a search on their website) and it makes delicious brownies in squares. I’ve also made banana bread in the pan as a way to try to limit myself to just one piece! The PC pan is non-stick and (at least I find) it is very easy to clean. It’s about the size of a cookie sheet and I store it with my baking pans. Oh! And I don’t sell Pampered Chef nor do I know anyone who does!

  7. *Angela-Miles*

💜 the edge pieces!! Crispy corners unite LoL 😆. I dont have this pan, but I have something similar I got for $20 at bed bath and beyond a couple years ago. It’s a crispy corners brownie pan and each piece onlinees out with some edge to it.
(Also Michaels has some pans that are similar and you could probably use a coupon on them).

  8. Shelly

I used to think I didn’t like edges, but eventually realized what I loved about brownies was the chewiness of the edge pieces. NOT crispy or crunchy as when they’re overcooked, though. We bought this pan used for less $ and we love it. It’s a great onlinebo with the Ghirardelli mix at Costco.

    • akajulz

Exactly! That is what I was going to say but you beat me to it. Crunchy is overbaked!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks so much for the helpful suggestion!

  10. Diana

Love this pan! Though I’ve had to always reduce the reonlinemended time by 5-10 minutes when I use this pan, otherwise the brownies are a little too hard for my taste.

  11. evelynlo96

Wonder if you can use it to make lasagna.

  12. Sherry Ann

I grabbed one of these! What a great deal with the promo and I always love supporting small businesses!

  13. lori

I use this to make cornbread. Amazing.
