I ordered this because I was tired of peeling potatoes and apples during the holiday season. I could not wait to use it; it was a game-changer! It made food prepping and baking so much easier and faster. The machine is a bit loud but it takes about 12 seconds to peel an apple (I timed it!) so the noise is not really a problem.
I’ve used it on potatoes, mangoes, oranges, apples, and a cucumber (but in half). Within the packaging, there are also extra blades and a paring knife which is nice. I loved this product so much I ended up purchasing two more as gifts for friends!
Love it! It’s light and easy to use! When I use a potato peeler I was always peeling too much potato with the peel. This blade is fine and only gets the skin, in seconds. Except for the “poles” of the potato but I don’t mind. It’s easy to clean if you have a sprayer to just rinse off the spikes where you insert your potatoes. Small enough and doesn’t take up much room!
