   Honestly, this doesn’t surprise me. There are 20 Walgreens within 7 miles from my house. Seriously! In Arizona, they are on almost every corner.

   Noooo! I love my local wags! So sad 😞 my fave sac county location in CA is shutting their doors! I love rolling register rewards week after week and the curbside pickup as well as drive thru pharmacy will be missed. There are of other Walgreens near me, but I am saddened to see two familiar ones on the closing list . I feel terrible for folks losing jobs. Always a sad moment for those families.

   This isn’t surprising. There is only one location in my area, a suburb of a larger city and the people there are RUDE! Flat out rude! They seem bothered anytime you have a question or need any kind of help. I stopped shopping there years ago because the service is terrible.

  These people are overworked and underpaid. Plus they have to deal with customers who want fast results while the pharmacist is making sure no one dies with incorrect medications or possible interactions with other medications they may be taking. I really feel bad for them. Most work 10 hour shifts on their feet all day long. I think the issue is the prices of medication is going up and insurance onlinepanies are reimbursing less.

  People everywhere are getting unpaid and overworked. Most people in my family if not all are working 12-14 hrs a day being on their feet, bending their backs and customers don’t even tip them for their service. They get paid less than $90 a day BEFORE taxes. It’s not even enough for bills and food, but if we don’t work we can’t eat. So they rather work for low pay at least they can put food on the table. It’s sad that customers has so many requests but walk away with $0 tip in a service industry. Where they break their backs and arms for the customers. I feel sorry for Walgreens workers losing their jobs, but plenty others have it worse with extremely low pay, but we don’t have a choice but to work for low pay 🙁

   With all of the Rite-Aid, CVS, and Walgreens stores going out of business near me, I wonder if there will be any pharmacies left!?!?!?

   Not surprising. We have several, and the customer service is non-existent. The staff is always RUDE! For simple things too. I once went in looking for a particular arthritis cream for my MIL and the app showed me which location had it in stock so I drove to that one. When I arrived, it wasn’t on the shelf so I asked an associate and their response was “that would be somewhere in aisle x, if it’s not there, we don’t have it.” Ummm ok I had already looked up and down that aisle before asking but ok. Another time I did an online order for necessities and was given 2 conditioners instead of the shampoo and conditioner ordered. When I told them abs tried to exchange it, it was a whole big ordeal, the associate said she didn’t know how to do an exchange and because it was on sale 2/$5, one gets run at $4.49 and the other at $.51, I would only get back $.51 and my exchange would be rung up at full price, leaving me to pay the difference. It was crazy, made no sense especially since it was an error on their part. The shampoo was available on the shelf. I stay away from Walgreens like the PLAGUE! It’s no wonder they’re shutting down so many locations.
