SPAM is ready to celebrate the holidays with a twist on a classic seasonal offering. The brand has officially launched its new limited-edition flavor called SPAM Figgy Pudding. Believe it or not, this adventurous flavor is flying off shelves!
It’s already sold out on the SPAM website, but interested consumers can still find this product available at Walmart and Amazon while supplies last. Expect a retail price of around $10 – $14 for a two-pack of 12oz cans.
This interesting idea came after SPAM conducted a survey and found out that 2 in 3 consumers want to recreate their favorite holiday memories from childhood. With this information, SPAM set out to deliver a nostalgic holiday treat for fans. According to a recent press release, the brand discovered that 69% of consumers had heard of the infamous Figgy Pudding but only 17% had ever tried it. That’s about to change!

If you’re scratching your head wondering what figgy pudding tastes like, imagine the classic canned SPAM mixed with holiday spices and flavors. You’ll taste hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, cloves, fig, orange, and of course, pork and ham. Emily Heil from the Wall Street Journal says it, “Tastes like a hotdog fruitcake.”
