   Sucks. First Sam’s eliminates a bakery bread (soft french), I have been purchasing for over 20 years, and now this. I have used the free shipping for gifts; it may not have been overnight, but it was good enough. Not much sense being a member anymore. I hope you share this information with Sam’s management. Greed can backfire.

  We have been Sam’s plus members for many years of excellent service. We are elderly and no longer can walk thru a store, so we have most everything delivered or shipped. Living on fixed inonlinees is always a concern as prices are rising 10 times more then our inonlinee. Living so far away from a Sams Club, the price of gas now makes our shopping trips rare. We fell like the forgotten population.

   Won’t renew my Sams Plus card for $110.00.
   Reason that I paid the extra money is for the free shipping.
   Buy Sams after 32 years.😢

   Renewed my Plus membership in May/2024. Now Sams wants to change our agreement. We deserve to be onlinepensated for this change since it is a bad business practice, hope someone sues the heck out of them. If there is a change in the agreement, the member should be notified before renewing not afterwards.

  I’ve been a plus member for years and never received a letter of the changes, I just renewed in June, I would not have renew as a plus member. 10 1/2 months to decide, they just might lose a lot of members.

  I had them refund my “plus” extra I paid for and they did refund it. We had it for the free shipping for years since our closest one is a 2 hour drive. I feel like they should have honor what they sold me and only change after the year but they thought different but me squawking I did get back the full $60 even though we only had 2 months left.

   Do not like the change. I will not renew my Plus membership. Will probably just go to basic membership. I order a significant amount of stuff from Sam’s, but I don’t usually order $50 at a time. It is no problem to just go into the store as it would just usually be less than 3-4 items at most. I can use my credit card they give me 2%back instead of the lost 2% back from Sam’s. If I need it sooner than my once a week trip to the Sam’s Club area, as it’s 49 miles away, I’ll just use Amazon for my 1-2 day delivery. But I am done with Plus.

    As a senior citizen, free shipping is important!! Free shipping was the main incentive; without it, it’s not worth it for me. Please reconsider and restore free shipping without $50 minimum purchase.

    DON’T LIKE IT!! Free shipping without $50 minimum is why I’ve stayed with Sams all these years. The post card Sams sent out announcing the changes stated “…we are evolving our perks…..” What a load of crap!! More like “…..we are screwing you….” I’m switching to Costco.

  Don’t forget about the higher prices online versus in store for many items. I imagine that if Sams gets rid of the $50 minimum for free delivery, Sams will just raise prices online. They could make even more money potentially. Take advantage of free shipping until new terms begin by ordering cheap items online daily until August 19th. 42 orders here I onlinee.

    Not fair to change the terms in the middle of a subscription cycle; It should have been effective upon next renewal. There’s a good chance I won’t do Sams+ next year; free shipping, regardless of order size was my main incentive.

    Wow! Samsclub is not honoring it’s contract with us! They went up on plus membership about 2 years ago. Now you’re going to charge for shipping if we don’t get it up to $50! Is it even worth it anymore? Looks like Amazon will be in line for more business from our family of 5. I’m a senior or fixed inonlinee, soon has a serious car accident and isn’t able to work, DIL is stay at home mom taking care of two kids. I guess when the greed hits the fan, you get sprayed… We really can’t afford the price hike!

    Did anyone else love the letter they sent saying the benefits were evolving and then said it was paying for shipping! How stupid do they think we are? So to summarize: $60.00 extra for plus, higher prices to order then in the store, and the fact that they say that the shipping is free but do not give back the 2%. Fabulous.

    The only reason I’m a plus member is the free shipping as our store doesn’t always have the product in store. Its doesn’t have a Pharmacy, or eye glasses. I just renew in June, I’ll have to decide if I renew just as a regular member. Sales haven’t been that great lately. Hardly any groceries. I got 10 months to decide.

They should have notified all plus members, I never would have renewed. They be the next one to go out of business, at least in Augusta, Maine, no eye glasses, no Pharmacy, so what’s the incentive,

    I’m a Sam’Club plus member & have been for many years! I did get an email on June 19th, 2024, regarding Sam’s club changes to membership perks. However, my membership doesn’t renew till November 2024, so before renewing, I’ll be checking to see if it’s worth it to keep my plus membership. However, unless something changes as of August 19th, 2024, free shipping goes away for all plus members! I agree with others here who said it should change when your membership renews & not before.

    For each person, I’m sure that certain perks are used more than others. The top 3 perks for me to keep my plus membership would be FREE SHIPPING (that’s gone). I occasionally use early hours shopping & curbside pickup. However, I can do without either or choose to pay $4 fee for curbside pickup.

    Ok, so for those that already renewed without knowing they were taking away free shipping! It might be worth it to go to the membership desk in club & inquire about downgrading to a club membership. You can mention what’s important to you, such as the free shipping perk & because that’s going away it’s no longer worth it to have the plus membership. I’m not sure if they would do this or credit you for the difference, but maybe if enough people inquire, they will rethink taking away the free shipping perk! Just a thought!

    In the club today, I cashed out my rewards and cancelled my plus membership. They refunded my membership also in cash.

    The only reason I’m a plus member is because of free shipping. The closest Sam’s is 42 miles away. I’m a leg amputee and dont drive. I like to order what I need on line and sometimes dont need $50 of merchandise at one time. Been a plus member since 2011 but I will be reconsidering when my subscription onlinees up in November. $110 divided by $8 apop means you have to make over 14 orders just to onlinee out ahead.Amazon Prime costs more but you get a lot of perks that Sams doesnt offer and have a lot more choices

    I am a plus member and got it for the free shipping
    I will not be renewing my plus membership because Sams changed policy midstream
    Sams club should reconsider charging shipping for plus members for under 50 dollars of orders
    I am a senior citizen and live 50 miles from a Sams store that’s why I got the plus membership
    Bad decision and Sams will lose members
