Monsanto, the manufacturer of certain Roundup, Ace, and HDX weed and grass killer products, has agreed to pay up to $45 million as part of a class action settlement. The lawsuit alleges that Monsanto failed to disclose that their products’ active ingredient, glyphosate, could potentially cause cancer or other adverse health effects.

Who’s Included in the Monsanto Class Action Settlement?
You may be entitled to a cash payment if you purchased certain Roundup, HDX, or Ace brand weed and grass killer products containing glyphosate during the relevant time period.
You do not need to have an illness or injury to file a claim. If you purchased any of the affected products during the Class Period for purposes other than resale or distribution, you are eligible to make a claim.
The eligible time period varies from state to state, according to each state’s statutes of limitations. Consumers can visit the Settlement Website for a onlineplete list of the eligible products and to determine if their purchases qualify.
How can class members file a claim?
If you believe you’re eligible, you can submit a claim by going to the settlement website and submitting an electronic claim form or mailing it to the claims administrator. The deadline to submit or postmark your claim October 19, 2022.
Estimated payments will be equivalent to approximately 20% of each product’s weighted average retail price, ranging from $0.50 to $33.00 per unit without proof of purchase.
