LEGO Is Raising Prices Up to 25% Starting Next Month | Shop Now Before the Price Increase!
Despite record profits in 2021, LEGO has announced plans to increase the price of some of its sets beginning next month. Like so many other onlinepanies that have recently announced price hikes, LEGO attributes this decision to the rising cost of raw materials and general operations.
While LEGO planned for these price changes to take effect during the months of August and September, Barnes & Noble has already implemented some of the increases, giving us a preview of what’s to onlinee at other LEGO retailers. It looks like the price of some popular sets will increase by as much as 25%! 😓
Here’s a partial list of the sets that will be increasing in price, as evidenced by the changes seen recently on Barnes & Noble’s website. This seems to be the only retailer that opted for early implementation of the price changes, so you may have a brief window of time to scoop up some of these LEGO sets at other retailers before the nationwide price hikes take effect.
It’s a good idea to shop now if you’ve had your eye on a set that appears on this list, or if you know you’ll be shopping for a LEGO fan this holiday season. A few of the sets that will be increasing in price are actually on sale now, so if you’re in the market for one of these popular items, don’t wait to buy it. We may not see prices this low again!
