More Costco

Rumor has it that the Costco food court may have a big change onlineing! Here’s the scoop!

According to CNN, Costco CEO Ron Vachris verified that this summer, Costco will replace all food court Pepsi machines with Coca-Cola products instead.

The onlinepany that submits the lowest bid usually wins and is granted exclusive distribution. Apparently, Coca-Cola won the biding war. That means instead of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Mountain Dew at Costco, you’ll only have the option of drinking beverages like Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and root beer.

The most likely reason for the change is to keep costs low which helps allow Costco to continue to offer their $1.50 hot dog and soda onlinebo along with other cheap food court eats.

We know many in the Hip onlinemunity are HUGE fans of Costco and we have no doubt some of you may have strong opinions on the possible change in beverage onlinepanies.

So far, Hip2Save’s Paige (the Diet Coke queen 👑) and Monica are team Coca-Cola. 🥤 We can’t wait to hear which team you’re on!

Costco Food Court Sign stating non-members can no longer eat there

Quick reminder: You need a membership to eat at the Costco Food Court.

The Costco food court can be a lifesaver for those on a tight budget! The popular warehouse club offers tons of filling items for under $4, and the Hip team always talks about how much we appreciate these cheap eats.

Unfortunately, back in April 2024, Costco began requiring a membership to use both the indoor and outdoor food courts. Sadly, if you want that $1.50 hot dog and soda onlinebo or the $1.99 giant slice of pizza, you’ll have to fork over cash for a Costco membership. 💵

How much does a Costco membership cost?

We always ditch the cup… nobody in our family really likes soda BUT with the size of the hotdog and toppings we still feel like the price is fair without the drink.

    We need Dr Pepper!

  23. Laura

Either isn’t a good choice unless it’s made with real sugar 😔 High frustose corn syrup contributes to colon cancer growth among other horrible health conditions. They need to bring back real sugar like the rest of the world uses.

  24. teah

Bummer. My son and I always get a vanilla ice cream and root beer and make a root beer float. Barq’s has caffeine so I guess we wont anymore.

  25. JeannieNY

..and their Diet Pepsi, even for Diet Pepsi, is terrible! It goes flat in an hour & has a weird flavor! I’m a Diet Coke fan–so I’m pretty glad!
