Christmas Tree Shops (CTS) Closing All Remaining Stores – Extra 50% Off Liquidation Sales Start Now!
Christmas Tree Shops recently renamed itself CTS so shoppers would know they were open year-round and selling more than just Christmas merchandise. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to avoid bankruptcy. In May, CTS announced that it filed for Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code.
CTS had originally hoped to close a few underperforming stores while keeping the rest open. However, as The Wall Street Journal reported, CTS defaulted on its loan of $45 million which was used to keep those stores in operation. An attorney for the onlinepany said that sales in those stores began to decline because they weren’t able to keep merchandise in stock. Customers ended up buying fewer items as a result, and revenues declined.
Christmas Tree Shops hoped a buyer might onlinee forward to save the remaining stores; however, that has not happened, and now Going Out of Business sales have started. You can expect to see an extra 50% off the lowest ticketed price of Christmas and holiday items, and up to 50% off the lowest ticketed price of the remaining home goods, furniture, gifts, and more. They expect all all locations to be closed before the end of August. Check the list of CTS locations to find one near you.
