Almost 30,000 pounds of Chomps Ready-To-Eat Beef Sticks are being recalled due to reports of contamination of metal pieces in the product. No injuries have been reported but if you believe you have an injury from eating this product, it is advised that you contact your healthcare provider.
If you have purchased Chomps Original Mild Beef Sticks in California or Illinois between January 13th to January 15th, 2025, check your pantry! Here is what to look for on the label:
- Product Name: “Chomps Original Beef Stick Mild”
- Packaging: 1.15-oz vacuum-sealed packages
- Expiration Date: February 10th, 2026
- Lot Code: 25016 (printed on the label)
- Establishment Number: “6220A” (ink-jetted on the package)
- Shipped to: Retail locations in California and Illinois
If you do have this product on hand, do not eat it and either throw it away or return it to the store where you purchased it.
