Which BlendJet 2 portable blenders are impacted?
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety onlinemission, these blenders are approximately 9.5″ in height, 3″ wide, and weigh about 1.5 pounds.
The units came in several colors and designs and were available for sale at Blendjet.online, Costco, Walmart, Target, and other stores nationwide. They were for sale from October 2020 through November 2023 and retailed between $50 and $75.
To identify whether or not your unit is involved in the recall, look for the serial numbers which are printed on the bottom of the base. You’ll spot the numbers near the wording “blendjet2” and “The Original Portable Blender.”
If the first 4 digits of the serial number on your unit is between 5201 and 5542, it is subject to the recall. If you’re unsure whether or not your unit is part of the recall, you can also use the serial number search function on the BlendJet website or call BlendJet toll-free at (844) 334-0562 to verify. Customer service is available from 8 a.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET each day.
Even if your recalled unit appears to be functioning okay, you are advised to stop using it immediately and report the serial number to BlendJet.
