This thing is a beast! You can keep your fancy minimalist french press with its aesthetically pleasing curves and thin glass walls. That’s fine for your blonde roast bean water. I’ll take a dark-as-my-soul, extra-caffeinated cup of hot lava from my Stanley French press all day. And let me tell you, hot lava is no joke. I have an hour’s onlinemute to work and this thing keeps the black gold HOT! It is way too big for any cup holder on this planet, but if you can manage to ratchet-strap it down for the ride then you, too can saunter into the office with a bucket of steaming go-go juice every morning. Ignore the stares of your tired co-workers. They’re just jealous.
I bought this for my sister as a gift because she loves the French Press concept, but it was challenging when she had onlinepany because she could only brew a cup or two at a time. With this french press she can make 8 cups – it totally stays hot and has the fresh French Press Flavor.
Works great. I normally only fill it halfway and that’s enough for my wife and I to have a mug or two of coffee. Fill it all the way and you have enough for a small family get-together. Great coffee maker.
Came in perfect condition. A little surprised it came in a shipping bag not a box but it was still perfect. It is fairly heavy. Keeps your drink hot. I make loose-leaf tea, and for the first time, my last sip is free of tea chunks. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
