Flowers looking thirsty after arrival? Liven them up with these easy tip & tricks:
- Unpack your flowers immediately
- Make a 45-degree angle cut at least 1-2 inches off the end of the stems
- Trim any extra leaves/ foliage that will fall below the waterline. Rotted leaves may cause bacteria and shorten the flower’s life.
- No vase? Fill a clean container with fresh, cool water. If your flowers arrive in a vase, feel free to switch it with fresh water.
- Expect your flowers to properly hydrate for 1-2 hours (after this, they should look less ‘sleepy’!)
- Re-cut the stems, refresh the flower food and water every two days. Remove wilting flowers as needed.
- Do not place flowers in direct sunlight or near fruits, heat, and drafts.
