Check out these user reviews…

This is a game changer not being wired so that I am free to glue anywhere including ceiling fan wiring, molding on my ceilings, and work outside like I just did for some old Halloween decorations that the skeleton LED lights were popped out of the skull head eye sockets. I highly reonlinemend it and I threw out the 2 wired guns that I had. The Ryobi battery dremel is also a must-have that I love.

I always saw glowing reviews but never bought it. After a faulty glue gun, and a missing chord for another, I finally gave in. It’s wonderful! The gun heats up quick and it’s wireless so I could get high on my wall installation to glue my quotes to the moons that were over 10 ft from the ground. I didn’t even have to dance with a chord and extension chord to stretch to make it that high. It’s a high heat so it doesn’t cool off before I could align and place the moons. Since the battery is a bit weighty it does not fall over or need a stand. I put a piece of paper down to catch the drips of glue you get with all glue guns. I didn’t have the batteries laying around so I had to get batteries and a charger and it lived up to the glowing reviews.

Yay- thank you! We were just talking about how much we hate the short cord on the old one we had, lol..that cordless is the way to go☺️

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh perfect! You’re very welonlinee! Glad this deal popped up for you! πŸ₯°

  2. Betz

Can this be used for crafting or is this contractor grade?

    • Liz

If you look at the pic posted above, it actually shows the glue gun being used to glue Crayons to the side of a can (I’d think that constitutes crafting), but that is a cute idea to use the glue gun. Aren’t the actual glue sticks different “grades” (not sure that’s the term). Ryobi is a good brand. We enjoy their products.

My kids think every project is a β€œjobβ€πŸ˜‚ I think we will try it out! Thanks!!!

      • Lori

There’s high temp, low temp and dual temp. The difference is the amount of wax in each stick. (Glue sticks are just wax and plastic, basically. Source – Me. I did a bunch of research for some youtube videos I made about it.

        • Lori

Also, to note with this… this is for the glue gun only without the battery. If you don’t have any other Ryobi tools, you’ll have to buy one as well. There’s a bundle with both on the site for $20 off. Hope this helps someone.

Hey Betz! It seems this may be useful for many projects! Here are the details they list for this – “Designed for heavy duty gluing projects.”

  3. Tera

Haha. I’ve been on the lookout for a cordless glue gun, so thank you for posting! I had to laugh at the whopping *3* included glue sticks πŸ™‚ Better than no glue sticks, I guess!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welonlinee, Tera! Glad you could grab the deal you’ve been looking for! πŸ™Œ

  4. donnatonanblodgett

Be very careful. The glue can get extremely hot.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks for the warning! ❀️

Just an fyi, the glue gun in the first picture is different than the glue gun in the second picture. The first one, the battery plugs straight into it and it’s heavier and a little more heavy duty. For the bottom picture the battery plugs into a base that the glue gun sits in and charges from and is smaller and lighter.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Ashley! This has been updated! πŸ’–

    Is this online only?
Or you can get it at the store too?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! I’m not finding any store pricing details listed, however I do find it available for store pick up! You could always call in to your location to be sure before heading out. Hoping that is helpful! πŸ’ž
