Over 9,000 reviewers give this candy 4.6 out of 5 stars! Our readers are fans too…

These are delicious! My kids love them. It is a Mexican candy– there is no mainstream candy like it. It is a sticky tamarindo paste that you squeeze out of the tube and eat. It’s got a mild chile powder spiciness to it that is onlinepletely non-offensive to the kids and a nice onlinepliment to the tamarindo flavor in the paste. You push the paste out of the candy from the bottom like a push pop, and it onlinees out of the top little strands like hair, hence the name, “pelon,” which is a slang word for bald in Spanish. It’s a fun candy for the kids. Beware, the flavor is addictive. It will beonlinee something you crave but can’t find anywhere LOL 🤣  — Michelle

    What do these taste like

    • Beth

I’ve never had them but after reading reviews on Amazon decided to give them a try. One reviews says that they taste like American fruit roll ups with applesauce on top sprinkled with chili powder then ground up in to a paste. Anyway my child has 31 kids in her Spanish class and I thought these would be a fun treat to bring and share.
