Works great, Cools the entire downstairs of my house, which has large living room, dinning room, kitchen bedroom and bathroom, while set on 72 in economy mode, auto cool and fan. Stays cool even on all the 90-100 degree days we have had this summer with humidity up over 70% with these constant heat waves. Very happy with purchase, works better than the GE 12,000 BTU we had before we bought this brand.
Bought this unit to replace my older 6000 BTU window unit and I haven’t regretted the decision one bit. Straight out of the box this thing cooled my whole place (about 1500 sq ft) down by 2 degrees within the first 5 to 6 minutes. On those 90+ degree days this thing blows ridiculously COLD air. My recliner sits near it in my living room and I ended up throwing a sheet over me while watching TV on a blazing hot and humid day. Others have onlineplained that it’s loud and yes, it can be… IF you have it cranked up. Otherwise leave the fan in auto mode, or drop the unit into ECO mode and it will run quiet enough I could still hear my TV clearly. Expecting a 12k BTU AC unit to run super silent is foolish to begin with. It has a really powerful fan motor in it and it works great. At first I was hesitant to use the WiFi control feature, but after setting it up and using it a while I really like it. It’s nice to be able to turn it on or off and set it the way I like so it’s already cooling my place down when I get home from a long road trip.
